Now with the news of TH becoming completely electric, I am wondering which route will get which vehicles, especially the 255. I am also wondering when they are going to start type training for the ES, they should already be in service, or some anyway. Wondering why it is taking so long I can definitely see TH becoming an almost all-Wright garage. I think 50, 194, 250/689/N250, 289, 663 and 689 will get ESs just like 64/612. I’m curious to see what 255 will get. I wonder if they’ll force 10.9m Wright buses on it or if they’ll get shorter buses of another manufacturer such as Volvo or Caetano. I see them going for Wrightbus Kites but I suspect they will be the first 10.2m (or thereabouts) - remember when the Metrocity only had 10.8m to begin and now there is the 8.7m and 9.4m versions, the latter only revealed when the Tower Transit order for the 339 was revealed

That's a shame. SW1 is a pretty unique bus Unique doesn’t necessarily mean good though 😂😂 Off to High Wycombe to be thrashed on country lanes, I guess 🤣

Noticed a few Ts today on the 150 displaying the wrong blinds. One saying ‘150 Romford, Parkside Avenue’ another blinded for the 175 to Chigwell Row and another 150 Barking Harts Lane’ are there issues arm with the blinds

Noticed a few Ts today on the 150 displaying the wrong blinds. One saying ‘150 Romford, Parkside Avenue’ another blinded for the 175 to Chigwell Row and another 150 Barking Harts Lane’ are there issues arm with the blinds I remember this being a thing a few years ago with the Ts, displaying the side blinds with the 368 via Ilford or 150 via Barking for example so slightly surprised there’s still an issue.

Route 329 would be transferring from [AD] to [WN] on Saturday 9th December No more T’s at AD then, also looks like SW1 has been withdrawn from service as well SW1 is still at [AD] like the others bar the four that were loaned to [TH] They are still dedicated rail replacement buses until further notice.

Is this to accomodate the SL1 with whatever buses it will use? Looking forward to riding a DW on the 329 😎 I think most likely, I’d like to see some DW strays as well as a HA. Not sure if WN have 329 on their blind set? The DW's do not have 329 on the blinds.

As the T's that are at [DX] are NOT the older type that had the split nearside blindbox. All the ones of the 60 reg has an all in one nearside blindbox. The older ones that were from the 38/242 contract of 59 reg that are now in South London had the split nearside blindbox. Unless you mean the DW's as all non WTA DW's had the split nearside blindbox which this is capable of being done.

Wasn’t a dig at Arriva just pointing out an observation as noticed a few Ts like it. 175s DWs seems fine bar one though. Some of the T's down here in the south can be like that too - I suspect the winder (I don't know what the actual name is for the thing you wind) has probably gotten stiff, watched a 157 driver recently struggle with his blind at Palace. I tried one on an Omnitown about 14 years ago (a 3 year old vehicle at the time) and it's blind was pretty stiff to wind

10.9m vehicles are way to long, turning left out of stanford way onto rowan Road is tight, especially as it has a island right there, you have to use the whole of the road to just get round it. Will be interesting to see what they choose It’s very controversial as 255 has seen ENX before . But, the fact that they’d rather put ENSs on 255 than ENXs says a lot too. And you’ve driven the 255 yourself, so that also says a lot. It’ll be interesting to see what they get. Could be Caetano, BYD or Volvo. I have a feeling 255 will get Volvo BZL SDs or BYD E200EVs I don't think Caetano has the option shorter than a 10.7m version so that rules out for the 255. Optare/Switch does have the 10.1m Metrocity EV that can be another option for the 255. If I'm going to predict what type the 255 gets then it is either a 10.1m Metrocity or a 10.2m BYD/ADL E200EV.
