It was. Same with a last minute switch from the 87 to the 88 for the 13 reg EHs. Possibly another route aswell it happened on but I can't remember now. While I get the rationale behind the 59 and 53, I'll never understand the 87s to the 88 when both routes are Central London routes. I think Oxford Circus was the big hotspot. Ironically now whilst it does have less routes now only 2 are zero emission so the policy has well and truly changed.

Now with the news of TH becoming completely electric, I am wondering which route will get which vehicles, especially the 255.
I am also wondering when they are going to start type training for the ES, they should already be in service, or some anyway. Wondering why it is taking so long

I’m curious to see what 255 will get. I wonder if they’ll force 10.9m Wright buses on it or if they’ll get shorter buses of another manufacturer such as Volvo or Caetano.

And you’ve driven the 255 yourself, so that also says a lot. It’ll be interesting to see what they get. Could be Caetano, BYD or Volvo. I have a feeling 255 will get Volvo BZL SDs or BYD E200EVs

But also a driving instructor drove a ENX on the 255 route a few weeks ago to test it out and the instructor did say it is not fit for them to be on the route. Is this to accomodate the SL1 with whatever buses it will use? Looking forward to riding a DW on the 329 😎 I think most likely, I’d like to see some DW strays as well as a HA. Not sure if WN have 329 on their blind set? I think the older vehicles might. 329 was at WN before

This may mean that ENXs will never be used again It also seems as though some ENSs will be hanging around as logistical spares for 255, despite 410 not actually needing them. I assume some will also need to start for when 410’s SLSs go for refurbs
