It's a big order so Arriva London may dual-source and order some vehicles from ADL, or possibly even Volvo. Wright are very quick at delivering. The batch for the 64 is complete, it's more a case of infrastructure slowing down the entry to service. Indeed, it is really pleasing that most of the Electroliners were delivered in good time to Abellio for route C3.

It would make sense to stick with ESs for the TH routes for a common fleet with the 64 (and similarly for the 279 at E. But they could go for a different type for the 243, or any future tenders? The rumour of route 194 staying at TC could mean that it gets EAs (or Volvos) and the TH routes ESs. I thought 50 and 194 were meant to move to TH with 198 and 410 to TC?

Would I be right in assuming not all of 417’s ESs have arrived, as it’s been using some of 64’s, and even then, still isn’t able to manage a full ES allocation?

The following year 60,166,412 are up for tender. Winning one electric route, followed by many the following year, might be a winning combination. If the 50 moves in, surely 410 to N, rest of 137 to BN makes the most sense. Seems to keep equilibrium with pvrs. Can see things evolving before next August. The 612 was staying at TC afterall!

What I can see happening is all LTs based at BN shed alongside the 50 with Electrics at Tram Shed… as far as I am aware best to wait until further notice.
