Are some duties on the 410 operated by N drivers? I've noticed a few buses dead run to N, particularly one or two of the late night finishers. Some of the 410 fleet has been parked at N for many years now, similar to how the arrangement with the 157 worked

I believe all 410s are TH duties, but about 7 park at Norwood overnight. Not sure why, but perhaps to give extra space at TH. I wonder if this will remain when 410 moves to TC

T298 arrived in TH today still with Norwood blinds, showing 202 Blackheath. Apparently will be for 289, not sure if it is true. If this is true, I wonder if they’ll get blinds from the ENXs or brand new blinds

At the moment N is partially a base for unused vehicles.

There's been some ongoing problems with the 377's EMN. Battery drops around 19% on one round trip, given that the 377 gets 90 minutes for a rounder this means they can only really do 6 hours before the battery has dropped to around 20% and therefore the need to be charged again.

Speaking of Optare, I saw in GAL thread just now that a Me was on fire in Wimbledon this morning. I wonder if the Metrodeckers be taken off the road again?

That's not great for a brand new bus I think capitalomnibus sabotaged the batteries so the 16 plate ENs don't move to the 318

No surprise they are not buying more Opscares for the 439.

Im assuming 439 will be getting 9.7m SEes then— similar to its bunkmate, 450?

I might have free time this weekend to do some 133/333 journeys for the last time during Arriva’s tenure.
Do any regular users on those routes know how BNs LJ60/LJ11 regs fare nowadays? I’d like to grab several G2 B5LHs, but only ones that at least has a partly working electric mode with no engine rattling when accelerating. For instance HV15 was one nice one when I was on 333 last year.
I figure a long stretch given their age + HV1-6 already done for last year.

I think they have potential but most drivers are slow and as a result the ride isn’t that interesting.

Ah no, I am not expecting any amazing rides or anything thrashy (also appreciate fairly recent 20MPH issues), but have had instances esp on Sunday rides where there was some nice full revving on 1/2 gear. Maybe I got lucky?

More due to the fact everywhere is 20 and speed is being monitored. Sooner or later when those AI speed cameras are introduced expect things to be slower…
