The 64 drivers love it when they get a HA because they are so fast. The ES will definitely be thrashed 🤣 Thrashing the ESs won’t be possible with the stupid ISA though will it? I have been on one on the 417 from Crystal Palace to Crown Point and they move pretty fast even with ISA. Overall that mainly slows buses down in 20 zones not so much 30 zones.

The 64 by London standards still has a lot of 30-mph roads, although not as much as some other Croydon routes (like 166, 466 and SL5 which are almost entirely 30/+)

The SLSs on the 450 originally had no ISA then they began installing them but switched off, they slowly switched them on for 90% of the buses there are drivers who know the ones that are not switched on in fact make a big fuss. On the SLSs they are a nightmare the amount of times I’ve driven past Crystal Palace Bus Station and the speed changes to 10 MPH. Overall I couldn’t care if it is on or off speed cameras are everywhere. Saw a car getting flashed on Streatham Hill a few weeks ago.

At least on the 64s the section of London Road that is 20 is only the stretch between Sumner Road and Poplar Walk. If the last update was November 2023, then TfL have made quite a few mistakes as many roads marked 30mph dropped down to 20mph earlier last year (well before November).

Outside the garage is 20 and stretches down past Norbury. There is a 20 speed camera outside McDonald's on London road

The problem is, you get buses lose the GPS and then it sticks to a side road limit. Worst on routes that uses the A406 then it has detected the side road and put it at 20mph or 30.
