Arriva operations out of London are bidding for some of the Ts, it’s my understanding that not all of them will be retained by the company. They must be real desperate if they want those piles of junk. Never thought I’d see First become a better operator vehicle wise but here we are. At least first are actually starting to invest in their provincial fleet with new buses buses springing up all over the place now. A couple of years ago the whole company really was just a huge national bus scrap yard

The 329 would already have its own allocation from AD. Haven't even seen a HV creep on it since the move I was expecting DWs like DW479, DW482, DW484 and DW487 to be use on 329 as its in the blinds. Didn't know that. Has a DW ever been on the 329?

I'm going to miss the T buses. I do like a E400. Quite a sizable chunk of them will be gone once the Electrics for the 279 turn up BristolRE who I believe is one of your colleagues at E, has a fairly popular YouTube channel described the T buses as ‘very nasty’ in one video and are apparently very unpopular buses 😂 Can’t imagine the T buses on the 279 going anytime soon though with the power output issues E is having He dislikes T buses with passion. At DT there was mixed views between DWs & Ts. 99 269 & 401 driver’s preferred the DWs and whenever a T bus was on the route a lot of drivers don’t like it 160 229 428 492 a lot of drivers did not like DWs. T buses are very good and to be honest are more reliable than DWs. Enviro 2Toilet00s the earlier ones are garbage.

Excuse my ignorance, but I would never have thought money needs to be exchanged when T buses are just being transferred around the same company, just a different area 😂 Arriva have a policy whereby regions within the company bid for buses from Arriva UK bus, who then sell them to that region for a set price. It’s really strange but it means that regions aren’t operating buses they cannot afford and in a way it does make sense. Go ahead have a similar approach; whereby EYMS would sell their buses to another company such as Southern Vectis, reason being although they’re both Go-Ahead companies, they each have their own accounts and loosing an asset such as bus for free wouldn’t work; and it would need to be accounted for.

Not even the 1st gen DWs, like DW70, have ever done the 329. DW70 was at Wood Green between March and June 2015 before moving to Enfield, but was mostly on the 144 and 221. I think by then AD was its own independent garage rather than outstation so would have used a DLP or DLA

Yes they have, some years ago when they were at [AD] when used on the 141, before the initial ULEZ, they did go on the 329, although many of the drivers did not drive them down to type training.

The T buses on route W3 should start being withdrawn in 2 weeks due to more influx of HV's becoming available. That will leave the 144 (part) & 329 the only remaining Diesel operated routes from WN garage. Any idea where the Ts will be heading? De-commissioned. Like T201-3

It was a disappointment imo over the ALX400/Trident. The face-lift was a bit better package, The initial E400 was just looks but poor build quality.
