Full rollout of the ES type at Enfield is confirmed as the 10th of May.
Staff notice reads as follows
Route 307 – Electric buses
From Friday 10 May 2024, all electric ES type vehicles will be in use on route 307.
The last 6 finishing electric buses are scheduled to arrive at the garage once the garage is full, and the shunting staff will be unable to drive them onto the Hartsway for charging.
Therefore, from Friday 10 May 2024 the last six finishing electric buses on route 307 are to be driven directly onto Hartsway instead of the normal working practice of parking them in the queue for fueling and the bus wash.
A message has been added to the affected duties and will look like this…
**** FROM 11 May 2024 - BUS MUST BE DRIVEN DIRECTLY INTO HARTSWAY AT XXXX ****
Please ensure you check your duty card and familiar yourself of where to park your bus when finishing in the garage.
If this raises any queries, please speak with me.

Havent heard anything about reg’s unless they’re being hidden somewhere. They could send some of the year old 64 ES’s up there if TH is still a while from being ready

Not yet, as the Streetdecks that are being delivered to London right now are for Transport UK and plus the Stagecoach batch for the 242. though they should be arriving in London fairly soon.

The fact there won't be a E400 demonstrator still next spring would probably put that out which is a shame as there's a good slice of work available at the moment particularly aswell at BX which could have kicked off the type with the 99, 269, 401 with some for the 151 and possibly 88 if PHF is am issue.

I went past on a 289 a couple of weeks ago and there were a few chargers installed on the outside.

Impossible, build slots should have been for July before the summer shutdown Appreciate and respect what you are saying ... But the TH/279/243 Electroliner order list said TH &E work would happen early 2024 (Feb rings a bell, but memory is not as good as it was, and too late to check tonight) and 243 summer 2024

TH is far from being ready so yes that could happen Really? I went past on a 289 a couple of weeks ago and there were a few chargers installed on the outside. All of the chargers have been installed but that's about it, there's no power yet. The chargers were installed back in mid to late 2023 can't remember the exact date

UK Power Networks can't/won't keep up with the upgrades needed to connect the chargers at the garages.
