Is there any news on the 41, 121 & 329 tenders? Literally all 3 will not be able to use the current buses!

The estimated time according to the Wikipedia page is around Spring 2024 for when 279s buses will be introduced but we haven't heard anything from Wright or Arriva regarding when the service of the buses will start. Whenever 307 converts fully within the next few weeks will determine whenever the new 279 buses will be out since the works are finished at E. Sorry but we cannot be relying on Wikipedia sources in big 2024😤 are 279 drivers type trained was wondering 279 new Electroliner would be new model old model

I agree. More likely just a clean sweep with new like in Croydon.

But haven't really seen anything since then.

Whilst Arriva retaining all of them with new electrics may be a reasonable prediction, the 41 seems susceptible to a bid from Metroline's HT, especially because it's wired up for electrics already. However, I'm not sure what the capacity is like at HT and if there is indeed space for the 41 or if something might need to move out?

Metroline could even try and steal the 41 using some of their spare hybrids.

Baring in mind the 31 moved in last weekend to make space for the 28 at WJ and more electric infrastructure to be installed so maybe something does need to be moved out. Unless HT has so much space

Unless HT has so much space HT definitely has more space. It lost the 271, 91, with the 30 and 274 replacing them, and lost the 168 and 306 with the 31 coming in. It should be able to fit the 41 especially with its night service. (234 could go back to PB if needed) Apparently HT have been trying to get the 41 for ages, it certainly stands a decent chance this time
