Be interesting to see what E allocate to rail replacements when these enter service as the T has been their vehicle of choice for ages!

Pretty sure Arriva just refer to it as Croydon rather than it's more traditional name of South Croydon. Sure DT11 or capital will be able to confirm.

TC is the garage called South Croydon or Croydon? Officially it is South Croydon on paper. Staff say either to be honest.

I mean from Finsbury Park. The distance from there to SF is near enough the same distance from Finsbury Park to AR maybe just a little bit shorter by a few yards to SF. I am aware, it is just strange. The same way I find the 76 out of [SF] strange as the route was more aligned over the years with [AR]. At times I still keep thinking the 73 is out of [SF] or [AR], as it still seems a strange one from [CT] Arriva's garage strategy is curious: there's always one that is being scaled down or mothballed at any given time.

It's just the way things are, they had space concentrated in certain regions too much and are now cutting back in these area in order to keep business earning sustainably. Although, I think Edmonton is used for storage of new and old buses as well?

HV396 with its DB lettering removed without the DB lettering, it just looks incomplete weirdly 😂 Nah, looks better, reminds me of how it was before

Only because there are more spare T on the weekend from 279

2 weeks left, and on course to TH going live. They will be testing it in 2 weeks to see if everything works.
Also, a full T allocation on 289 so far

I'm up in Newcastle for work, and my hotel is across the road from Arriva's former Jesmond base. I have wondered what their strategy is with garages for years. They certainly like moving routes around, the 318 has been at more than 4 garages since Arriva took the route from First. As regards Stamford Hill, surprised the 243 doesn't also run from there when its new order arrives, considering it's wired up for electrics, but is full of hybrids instead

T42, T158 and ENS20 all at ensign, certainly looks like T42 and T158 are destined for scrap sadly.

They could appeal to a smaller operator given they are ULEZ compliant, especially to use on rail work in London or other clean air zones which are now being introduced across the country.
