Not sure if it’s been posted but ES53 has been in an accident in Ballymena and has front end damage. Apparently happened last Friday??

Does anyone remember what enabled T187-T193 to be released from DX to end up at N, and ultimately at TH for the 289? I thought it was the loss of the 368 but they moved over to N in early 2022, a year before that went.
I’m rather surprised they weren’t refurbished seeing as on paper they were part of the 150 allocation and now look incredibly tired, even though they are the youngest Mark 1 Enviro400’s in the Arriva fleet!
T191 was refurbished, but that was only following a fire and perhaps explains why DX kept that one back.

DW324, DW332, DW254, DW256 all on stand at Dagenham New Road, was a faff getting onto the stand for all of them and had to park in pairs.

Does anyone know if the 64 ever gets busy anywhere overnight? I was thinking to do it with the Ts for a last time because I have free time and it went extremely well with the 157, from what I’ve seen the route is dead early in the morning on a weekend but I have no clue about the ‘N’64

Then from Vulcan way to Thornton Heath Pond, it is very quiet

Arriva's garage strategy is curious: there's always one that is being scaled down or mothballed at any given time. I'm up in Newcastle for work, and my hotel is across the road from Arriva's former Jesmond base. I have wondered what their strategy is with garages for years. They certainly like moving routes around, the 318 has been at more than 4 garages since Arriva took the route from First. As regards Stamford Hill, surprised the 243 doesn't also run from there when its new order arrives, considering it's wired up for electrics, but is full of hybrids instead Route 243 was traditionally SF, but moved to AR in 2 stages in 1981. EDIT : Because Newcastle and Woolwich are both Arriva, GA & Stagecoach dominated, I sometimes consider Newcastle as Woolwich-on-Tyne and Woolwich to be Newcastle-on-Thames.
