This is precisely the plan. They will be moved to Norwood then a select amount will transfer to Route 217. Interesting, the T's from the 64 is not the first batch of buses that comes to my mind for the 217 allocation, as they are a ex 341 batch they would be returning back to North London and even AR if the 217 stays there.
Arriva better make sure they do have a new manual blindset on order if they are using those for the 217, otherwise they would be better of swapping something that has powerblinds for the 217 in my opinion. A bit of information for you all, save any speculation: - T43, T143 and T144 will be withdrawn - T146 will be withdrawn - T148 will be withdrawn - T157 will be withdrawn - T159 will be withdrawn - T160 will be withdrawn - T166 will be withdrawn - T119 transfer to the 217 - T122 - T128 transfer to the 217 - T139 and T161 transfer to the 217 - T225 and T226 transfer to Wood Green

Some of those Ts are shocking. I do wonder why Wood Green need those two Ts back. I assume the others are ones the drivers nominated as the fastest? Or ones that weren’t voted as slowest at all?

I do wonder why Wood Green need those two Ts back I'm glad T148 and T157, they were shocking buses. They have already been taken to Norwood. T148 only went 10mph depending on how much you press the accelerator down. Terrible

TBH the route had buses of a similar age out before, as the MMCs started to disappear. I assume HA15 and HV167 will go back to AD or other AR routes... Thanks for the info

There is one I saw a few weeks ago that was good, it was being semi floored through Brixton

Even after these purges I think a Thornton Heath T keeping up with a 64reg hybrid is about as likely as the TfL listening to that persons comment about extending the 266 to Heathrow Airport. T151 was also a slow heap when I rode it, whereas T143 was quite fast a few months ago so I’m surprised to see the latter on the list

I assume some engineer input was also used as reliability also matters but I guess with the 217 speed will be important.

When buses are selectively withdrawn the worst will always go first.
