First E400 Has arrived at GY For type training for the 66s Sorry, but do you mean E400 Cities, or do you mean a normal E400 (T). Does this mean they will replace the DWs and be replaced later by the Gemini 3s (apparently that is what its getting). Seems a bit like the 309 situation, where the Optares were replaced by E200s, to be replaced by E200 MMCs.

Nope 66 is getting HVs for its contract, the DWs will be replaced temporaily by classic E40Ds before the HVs arrive. Very sad 😢😢, but i think its for the best.. Not really, trying using some of those T’s Depends what T’s… 279 & W3 batch is pretty decent but the TH ones certainly arent… Its most sad for me to see them going as they've been here for years and are the last interesting buses on my local routes per say… GY is basically known for them at this point and them Ts dont have the same character as a DW for me personally. More or less the DWs being amazing for me and not any hatred for Ts Theyve had a good 15 years of London service, I will enjoy them as for long as I can now

Will be nice to see Arriva E400s in Romford (Yes I know the 175 uses the odd E400 from time to time.) surprises me that most GY drivers aren’t type trained on E400s being a common type everywhere and that the 66/370 used 65 reg from DT for a short period and the 103 drivers should already be type trained if they are from Stagecoach as it used to have a part allocation of E400s under Stagecoach. Is it just the 66 or 370/103 as well?

Is it just the 66 or 370/103 as well? it's unlikely all of the drivers at GY are type trained for the E400- whilst they may be commonplace elsewhere, GY has never had an allocation of them. Many of the drivers on the longer standing rotas (66 and 370) may never have driven an E400 considering the routes went from E200 to DW operation. The E400s from DT were used rarely on the 370, even more so on the 66, so may have been DT drivers covering a duty.

Yeah the 313 is a great route, especially with a 279 T or a DW. Shame its not allocated them full time!
