Any news on Tottenham and when they will get their works underway for the 243 / 341? I know the order is not until next Feb for the BZLs... The BZLs for the 243 and 341 (whatever they’re coded as) will not arrive until at least May 2025 - they take 11 months to arrive like Metroline’s first BZLs which were ordered in October 2022 and the first of them arrived in September 2023 That's not how it works

Are you joking… the HAs are the same layout as HTs. In addition that depends if blinds are fitted to them… Type training is still needed. Before we got the HAs, I was already type trained on ENX31 and 32 which is exactly the same but was still told to type train on the HAs It would be needed as an ENX and a HA are completely different vehicles

If Volvo and RouteOne mag both mentioned February, then I guess that is when it will be. Metroline BZLs probably were on time but kept in store until 487, 251 etc were ready. I assume the same may happen for the 153. The new buses can be stored at EC and SF until ready You really can't not have much faith in dates quoted in press ... take the press release from Nov 23 from Arriva themselves. news.arriva.co.uk/news/arriva-wins-london-bus-contract-for-new-routesIn it they state TH will be fully electrified by early next year (2024). Enfield will be electrified for the 279 early next year (2024) and Tottenham will be able to handle electrical charging (presumably for 243 & 341 as 41 not then announced) by mid 2024. So when the company as the main source gives out fantasy dates, the press can only give out fantasy dates. All the dates have been missed and not looking likely to be met in the short term. As far as I am aware neither TH or E are awaiting further UKPN work, so that can no longer be offered as an excuse. Those sites are down to Arriva and their appointed contractor who I believe are Zenobe.

Nice to hear, look forward to seeing one on the 468, as yet to see one. Wonder what other routes have been added? Hopefully 202 & 432 at very least. Then maybe 196, 198 & SL6, known changes, but no rush, but would save have to perform an additional update on what would be a growing number of LED displays. I will check the blinds when I get one. They must have been updated recently because on Tuesday when I was on Route 2 I had HV282 they were same 2 & 249 as usual. All I have to say it’s about time the program was updated to accommodate more routes. 2 196 198 202 249 432 468 N2 are on the LED blinds. “Norwood” will no longer be displayed for Route 2 as it has been removed.

It will enable it to be operated without the need for new blinds as the (presumably*) temporarily allocated buses can use blinds removed from the LED converted buses. * You never know Arriva may surprise us and the 196 will be electric from day 1! Be interesting to see what happens with the SL6 ... will they spend money vinyling up a temp allocation ... this will be the first time a SuperLoop route has changed hands.

The chassis after ES137 has been registered as LV74CEA. Whilst not confirmed as ES138 ... think it is likely to be the case.

I will try to update you all whenever I hear anything for sure 👍 Im most interested to know how you guys are gonna store them all! About 100 ESs that will be sitting idle for a while 😟 BristolRE reckoned in a video the 279’s will be in service by around Christmas so that’ll relieve some pressure around then All these ESs not yet in service sums up why I have scrapped plans to come to the area and ride route 50. I could ride one on route 417 but I prefer to see how the area will look once plenty more are in service.
