Hello, first post Got a couple questions regarding things with TH 1. Any plans for adding new chargers to TH and if so how long would it take (I’m assuming less time because the sub station has been put in which caused all the delays) 2. What is most likely to be the next conversion route? I did see ES35 on the 250 doing trips for 2 hours but mainly because it was used on 689 prior. 3. I’ve also noticed the outstation near beddington still has the EMC’s and T’s that were withdrawn long ago, why they still there? Firstly, welcome Cybermike137 is our excellent source of TH shenanigans 1) I have to say I’m surprised that extra chargers haven’t been installed already, it was known fairly soon after the initial 64 award that at least the 250/255/289 would be converting to EV from there too, so I find it surprising they haven’t already preemptively installed them 2) Tbh all of the TH bound buses are already being delivered for the 194, 250, 255 and 289, so I think once all the relevant infrastructure has been installed it’ll probably just be a mass giant conversion of all routes at the same time There’s inevitably someone who’ll know better than me though

T11 at DT hasn’t run since the end of August, is it finally game over for this comparatively venerable specimen?

A couple of SLSs have left the site over the past few weeks, only one remain. There's only one T there as well. There's actually 2 SLSs left not one, SLS29 & 30. T147 is still the singular T there.

About 100 ESs that will be sitting idle for a while 😟 BristolRE reckoned in a video the 279’s will be in service by around Christmas so that’ll relieve some pressure around then

There are about 15 at N and DX have some parked there as well

Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems short-sighted not to have installed more chargers initially when you have the buses waiting to enter service, maintenence costs on old stock could be reduced and redundant buses could be moved on.

Overall the firm know what they are doing now the power is on more chargers can be installed there would no point converting the whole garage without any power that was recently switched on a few weeks ago. Overall it is always stated in the tender notices that vehicles can enter service at a later date so use your common sense…

There may well be other factors involved outside of Arriva's control?

Any news on Tottenham and when they will get their works underway for the 243 / 341? I know the order is not until next Feb for the BZLs... The BZLs for the 243 and 341 (whatever they’re coded as) will not arrive until at least May 2025 - they take 11 months to arrive like Metroline’s first BZLs which were ordered in October 2022 and the first of them arrived in September 2023
