I am new here, but I have a lot to say about London's buses - perhaps too much sometimes...

HV66 out on 259, interesting to see G2s back in Tottenham, would love to see them out on the other routes like 149 and 243 There's been quite a few HVs out on the 259 since its move to Tottenham - it would certainly be interesting to have on the other AR routes!

The T on the 370 didn’t last long, taken out at Corbets Tay, now a 30 minute gap in the service towards Mercury Gardens, it was supposed to be at Upminster 5 minutes ago and stopped tracking on LVF I assume it’s been taken out anyways, Upminster 370 stop towards Romford is packed, little do they know they have another 10 minute wait since the T has been removed without cover. I’d imagine whatever is replacing it is starting from Mercury Gardens. 6:00 to 5:42pm is quite a stretch, unless is was a very long login on iBus the Ts from Wood Green are in good nick, have not done much above 30 having been on the W3 for most of their lives. I assume some can more can be found from the 279 and 329 batch. Not sure when the 279 starts driver training for the electrics unless some already drive the 307s.

It only saw it on LVF under rare when it came up at 5:17, it hasn’t been running since 6am. I recon it was a log on, it also only did 5:17-5:42 of which it spent 10 minutes at bus stop Davy Downs which is 3 stops from Lakeside, I recon it went out to be pulled back in.

I always thought WN was the head office for Arriva? You learn something everyday lol. What are you even on about… ? To elaborate I mean it seems that buses either transferring to other garages or coming off the road go via N for some reason. I thought this was normally done at head quarters?

Surplus Buses will go wherever has space, in addition locations where the day to day operations are not really disrupted. DT will probably become the next dumping ground for withdrawals in January starting with their own DWs probably the back Car Park of the garage. Why would you think they would all go to WN… ESs are being stored at N because the space is there and TH is 15 minutes away, why store them miles away. No idea why the Ts are here but your comment about Head office makes no sense…

The 250 ES seems to be staying out longer and longer each day. Is type training progressing for the 250 ... could then maybe see some at weekends?

I imagine that buses go to N because N is the biggest garage, and at the moment is roughly half empty (accounting for their service route buses, not any others)

It's not restricted to HQ, whilst some ops like GA and Stagecoach typically have "hubs" of sorts for incoming and outgoing vehicles, they both still use any garage which has space to store vehicles. Recent examples from the top of my head: ARL: DX, E, N, Beddington GAL: DS, RR, Q, NX ML: PA/PV SLN: LI, WH, HK TUK: QB (pretty sure they're the only operator with an actual "hub")
