Hello everybody, I noticed that there isn’t a thread for bus stops there should or could be, so I’ve set up this thread for that topic. So have conversations about ‘missing’ bus stops. I think there are a few in my area so I’ll just say them here:
173, 287, 673, 687: New stop (in both directions): ‘Dagenham ASDA’ between current stops: Chequers Lane, Merrielands Retail Park (C/S) Cook Road/Morrison Road (E/P)
174, 175: New stop (Dagenham CEME-bound): ‘Heathway’ between current stops: Nutbrowne Road (B) Ballards Road, Princess Parade (D)
145, 287, 687: New stop (Leytonstone/Rainham-bound): ‘Heathway’ between current stops: Merrielands Crescent (Q)/Chequers Lane, Merrielands Retail Park (C) Ballards Road, Princess Parade (D)
368: New Stop (Chadwell Heath-bound): ‘Woodward Road’ between current stops: Stamford Road (H) Porters Avenue
62, 368 (Possibly 173, 287, 687 if on the roundabout): New stop (Marks Gate/Chadwell Heath-bound): ‘Alfreds Way’ or ‘Ripple Road’ between current stops: Barking Industrial Park (G) Stamford Road (H)
5, EL2, N15: New Stop (Romford/Becontree Heath-bound): ‘Valence Wood Road’ or ‘Five Elms School’ between current stops: Winmill Road (N) Heathway (K)
I know not all these will be true, but it’s the start of ideas for stops you think might be missing and solidify the network a bit, I’d like to hear feedback and see more posts like this one, ciao.

Not a new stop but the 35 (towards Clapham Junction) should stop at Clapham Junction Station/The Falcon to allow for an easier interchange to the stop Clapham Junction Station

This is a very strong case for Victoria Station and i think it needs some changing up. Routes like 2,36,148 etc don't really have a "Victoria Station" bus stop and i dont think they're gonna return to Terminus Place any time soon so here is my opinion:
I think they should make Grosvenor Gardens and Victoria Street a two way road. Northbound will be the same but Southbound will be an only bus lane and only routes that pass Victoria station will be able to serve it like 2,36,148 etc. 13,38,390 etc won't change, they'll still go along Lower Grosvenor Place,Buckingham Palace Road and turn left into the bus station. Also, oppsite the "G" Victoria station bus stop, there'll be two other new Victoria Station bus stops for 2,11,36,148,211 and N44. One bus stop will be for 2,36 and N2 towards Vaxuhall and then after they serve it, they will turn right to Vauxhall Bridge Road serving Neathouse Place bus stop next. The other will be for 11,148,211 and N44 towards Westminster and they serve it, they'll will continue straight down Victoria Street serving Westminster Cathedral bus stop next.
So yeah that is my opinion. Thoughts?

In the Mitcham area I would love to have bus stops along the section of Church Road between Haslemere Avenue and Phipps Bridge Road (not served by the 200 as it turns off to serve the Phipps Bridge Estate). Ideally the 355 can be rerouted at Mitcham Fair Green via Mitcham Cricketers and along the full length of Church Road to Colliers Wood. The route can also then be converted to double deckers.

Between Hounslow Civic Street and Great West Road 120 n/b .its al least half a mile with no stop tho there is a stop s/b at Lampton Avenue. A stop at Neville Close would be useful

101/173/262/300/474/N551 New bus stop: ‘Beckton Station’ in between Beckton Bus Station and Tollgate Road I don't think that's necessary, I already think the current Beckton Station one is a bit weirdly positioned seeing as the bus station is right across the road.
