Most operators do, expect a lot more of it too as driver shortages are becoming a huge issue in London once more It’s not so much the principle of having the message, it’s the direction of display, pointing at the driver of a vehicle behind, (not even on passenger side) then offering a weblink address. Not exactly safety thinking to encourage the driver of the vehicle behind to go on a website whilst driving along behind. I don’t understand how GoAhead or TfLs safety Directors have sanctioned the location of this.

There is a Twitter picture from ADL on 5th November at Falkirk factory with Secretary of State for International Trade GoAhead EP1 and Stagecoach 14152 are clearly visible GoAhead have a bus driver vacancies message on back of EP1 (I wonder if anyone at Falkirk factory has applied) twitter.com/ADLbuswhy is it EP1, is that the shorter chassis?

EP stands for Electric Pantograph - the P indicates that is has pantograph charging abilities if this is what you meant?

Because on your principle they would be encouraging the driver behind to go on a website they may see etc to enquire.

Anyone seriously interested in following it up is not going to get onto a website whilst behind the wheel, they will either remember the address or do an online search. The message is simply: we're hiring. And it is clearly aimed at drivers.

Didn’t want to start a new thread so apologies in advance but there is seemingly a TfL spec (of sorts) Arrival single decker at COP26. It has power blinds or something that looks like them & is dual door. Front destination blind says Piccadilly Circus, front number blind 79 whilst on the electric advertising panels in the bus say Dean Street & Tottenham Court Road.

Going to be very confusing, Arriva and Arrival 79 to Piccadilly from Alperton could work, I'm sure RATP might want to use a bigger bus

Interesting article on the Bromley borough website regarding route 358. An extract is below:
“Plans were also shown for the installation of the relevant equipment in a disused yard at Orpington Bus Station. This land was owned jointly by The Arch Company and Network Rail; work was being undertaken to arrange the required leases. Preparation of the sites would commence during spring/summer 2022.”
Sounds like the buses themselves are some way from service.
Incidentally, if the 358s are charging in a different yard, the current stands should be more able to accommodate. It is not unusual for these to be filled.
