Remembering back to the Jubilee line changes in 1999 the 77 was going to be amended with a new route from London Bridge via the P11 (381) to Waterloo then down to Clapham Junction.
Now I can't see LRT/TFL planning to have 2 routes from LB to Waterloo what with the Jubilee line serving it aswell via Southwark so was there a plan to scale back the P11. With the Jubilee line also linking Waterloo, Southwark, LB and Bermondsey, Canada Water (Surrey Quays) was there a plan to axe it and replace it just south of Canada Water to Peckham. I recall a plan for a P10 from Surrey Quays to Crystal Palace.

I recall a plan for a P10 from Surrey Quays to Crystal Palace. I remember the P10 would have replaced the Honor Oak - Crystal Palace section of the 63 (now part of the 363), but can't remember what route it would have taken between Peckham and Surrey Quays. I'm pretty sure the 381/P11 would have been withdrawn west of London Bridge but I don't remember a plan for full withdrawal.
The plan for the 77 split was that the London Bridge - Clapham Jcn route would have run via Nine Elms and Queenstown Road, with the Vauxhall - Tooting route sticking to Wandsworth Road. I think both routes would have had new numbers (377 and 447 or 477?), with the 77 number being left vacant for a future renumbering of the 77A. After that plan was dropped there was another plan to renumber the 77 to 272, again allowing the 77A to take over the 77 number after a while - i.e. two pointless renumberings just to get rid of the A suffix!
The new links that would have been provided round Queenstown Road were eventually covered by the extension of the 156.

The 377 was going to do Wandsworth Road and the 447 Vauxhall Queenstown Road-Tooting. Like said it was eventually realised by extending the 156 to Vaxhall.
There were plans later on for a 437 from Clapham Junction to Vauxhall via Queenstown Road but no doubt it was seen as more efficient to join it to another route. At the time I thought the 170 could have been double decked and extended back to Vauxhall.

Reliability of the 77 would deteriorate presumably from the extension to London Bridge. Where would it stand? City Hall in place of the 343?

There's no plans to extend the 77 now. The 377 plan was to replace the 381 over that section. The RV1 offered some support but was deemed not needed anymore.
