I'd also offer to withdraw the 375 if a commercial operator was willing to accept an LLSA between Romford and Passingford Bridge with an hourly frequency - buses could operate alternatively to Debden/Loughton and Ongar.

The 84 would be handy too, as would making the 614 have Tfl fares/Oyster validity. (I suppose if history had turned out differently none of these are THAT fantastical though obviously unrealistic now). What is the history of why both of these routes stopped accepting TfL fares and Oyster in the London sections (the 84 up to Potters Bar, Cranborne Road), and reverted to fully commercial and Freedom Pass only? The 84 had always had the London section accepting TfL fares/Oyster, and the 614 accepted TfL fares in the London section and then had a few years of accepting Oyster as well. Is this TfL's fault again? Did they make services they don't control, which fill in the gaps they don't provide for, too unattractive in terms of the proportion of fares those companies ended up with?

They used to be run on LLSA terms were by they could accept TfL passes any get reimbursed. But TfL withdrew this and only offer LSP where they receive no money from TfL ... so it is of absolutely zero benefit to LSAs to accept any TfL tickets

Would make sense if they were providing services to places just beyond the London boundary (or even somewhat less populated places within it such as Hadley Green) for the benefit of those within it, but they're not.

Route 458 from Kingston to Staines. Route 216 linking both points is a TfL route, Kingston is of course in Greater London, and Staines served by several TfL bus routes.

I think the problem with the 458 would be if you were to TfL-ise the 458, then you’d probably also need to do the same with the closest to London part of the 715 (up to around Cobham) and possibly also the Dittons section of the 515 too.

In a dream/fantasy world, a Tfl bus to Cheshunt would be useful for various reasons e.g. 310, especially if from Enfield as well Waltham X. A regular frequency 242 from Potters Bar to Cheshunt would be another one or a good alternative. The 84 would be handy too, as would making the 614 have Tfl fares/Oyster validity. (I suppose if history had turned out differently none of these are THAT fantastical though obviously unrealistic now). Do any of these accept tapped payments now? Finding cash is a major disincentive to use other buses when you are used to the TfL System. Various non-TFL routes in the Kingston area could also be transferred, and some routes around Heathrow/Staines. And also some routes around Watford - perhaps the 306 to Borehamwood, 8 to Mount Vernon, and maybe a service to Rickmansworth. Delete. My laptop took me to the top of the thread, and my point duplicated a point I made earlier this year (about route 458).
