Did anyone else watch the PlayStation video on twitter tonight, it looks awesome. Definitely considering getting one when it comes out.

I’ve not had the chance as I was working but will check it out later EDIT: Have just finished watching it, the disc one looks ugly personally and out of shape with the non symmetrical front. The digital only one looks decent but not as nice looking as the PS4 which is a tidy looking console and I say that as an Xbox player who uses a original Xbox One. Currently, it's likely I'm sticking with Xbox. Pricing hasn't been revealed yet although there was a pre-order listing for a 2TB PS5 at £599.99 on Amazon yesterday so it may give people a rough ball park figure for the base model which is roughly 800 something GB (859GB IIRC) |

@busenthusiast56 or anyone else - did you end up buying a PS5. I got lucky and bagged one from Currys on launch day and I'm impressed with it - looks better in person than in pictures.

Team Xbox here  I managed to grab a Series S when a few came back in stock in Argos in the week before Christmas. I got a pretty decent trade in price (£110) on my old Xbox One at Game which surprised me. |

I was team Xbox but I wanted a Sony console to go alongside my OG Xbox One - I'll grab a Series X for Xmas 2021 possibly lol. I tend to keep my old consoles as im sentimental lol - still have a OG PS1 & PS2 alongside some Game Boy Colours and an Advance How is the Series S? |

Team Xbox here I managed to grab a Series S when a few came back in stock in Argos in the week before Christmas. I got a pretty decent trade in price (£110) on my old Xbox One at Game which surprised me. I was team Xbox but I wanted a Sony console to go alongside my OG Xbox One - I'll grab a Series X for Xmas 2021 possibly lol. I tend to keep my old consoles as im sentimental lol - still have a OG PS1 & PS2 alongside some Game Boy Colours and an Advance How is the Series S? I must say the power on and load times are very impressive. I also like how small and compact the console is!
Feels strange going Digital Only and knowing I won't be buying discs any more but with Game Pass and Games With Gold I have plenty of choice.

I decided to wait, the only game I really wanted which was Spider-man: Miles Morales came out on PS4 as well so no need to upgrade yet. Mayb3 if they release the rumoured Cities: Skylines 2 for next gen consoles only then yes. Also I hate the colour white, I will definitely wait until there is more colours available. |

I did always find it really weird that they went with white and at least not offer a black option, or even grey. I'm alright with the white colour personally and I think even if there was a black one I'd have still opted with white, the only thing putting me off at the moment is the price you pay for the current lack of games. Although no doubt both will change over the coming months, at least the game library, I can imagine the price will remain as it is for a couple more years yet. |
