E5 doesn't leave Ealing K1, K2, K4 don't leave Kingston - Upon - Thames Routes 181 & 284 are the only routes in Lewisham that do not leave the borough. These routes have never been run from separate garages as far as I’m aware. Only one occasion they have been tendered separately 19.03.2011-181 16.03.2013-284 From 2013-2018 both routes had different vehicle allocations usually both have the exact same type.

The 108 meets the 208 at its southern end, and the 308 at its northern end. For good measure it also meets the 8, 180, 188, 388, 488, D8 (and as a 24-hour route, the N8) Tower hamlets has the 15, 25, 115, 135, 205, 254, 425, N15, N25, N205, N550, N551 all meeting each other in some form or shape The 76 meets the 176 and 476; 76 and 476 meet 276; and finally 276 meets 376

Going back to talking about the most number of times a route crosses a particular train line, the 223 crosses the Metropolitan line an incredible 7 times in the direction of Wembley Central (Harrow on the Hill, Sheepcote Roundabout x3, Windermere Avenue, Preston Road, Wembley Park). It only does this 5 times in the direction of Harrow because of the double run at Northwick Park Hospital (bus goes from south to north to south of the Met line towards Wembley).
It gets even better because it crosses the Chiltern Railway 8 times towards Wembley due to the additional crossing at Wembley Stadium

Apologies if this is regarded as scraping the bottom of the barrel, but thought this was rather quirky: The 52 and 452 both currently run from a bus garage at their northern ends to a bus station at their southern ends. The bus garages both start with a W and the bus stations both start with a V (Willesden & Westbourne Park and Victoria & Vauxhall respectively). They're more alike than I thought!

The D3 crosses the DLR 8 times eastbound and 6 times westbound. The N550 crosses the dlr 8 times in both directions

31 might be the only bus that goes through two places that have names relating to other countries (Holland Park, Swiss Cottage)

(Forgive me for the awful phrasing) What route has had the oldest "youngest" buses? (I mean like the youngest buses the 250 has had are the 60 reg T's which are already 10 years old) (Either allocated or not)
