This could work with the 28, 228 and 328 without the 128/428. It’s also kind of funny as the 28/228/328 are all at X. Another example is the 34 from Walthamstow to Barnet, 234 to Highgate and then the 134 to Warren Street. The 334 does not exist and the 434 is a very small route which borders the London/Surrey boroughs. The 83, 183 & 483 be done and the 283 & 383 are one bus ride away. After getting on a 283, take it to Shepherds Bush and take 207 or 607 to Ealing, then 483 to Alperton, 83 to West Hendon, 183 to Hendon, 326 to Whetstone and get on a 383 Another amazing one, is the 468 from Croydon to Elephant, 68 from Elephant to Euston, 168 to Hampstead, 268 to Golders Green. 368 left out.

You can also start at Heathrow get the 140 to Harrow, then the 340 to Edgware then the 240 to Golders Green. If you then get the 83 to Wembley you can pick up a 440 there. Sadly the 40 doesn't serve North West London. EDITED VERSION: Start at Heathrow get the X140 to Willow Tree Lane (or anywhere else you can change to the 140) then get the 140 to Harrow, then 340 to Edgware then 240 to Golders Green.

By the way you should include the X140 as the 140 doesn’t serve Heathrow anymore

When introduced, the 178 started at Woolwich, and headed east to Thamesmead. Now, it heads from Woolwich off in a completely different direction to Kidbrooke and Lewisham. Not sure if the 178 is unique in this distinction, but it seems quite interesting.

The R7 is the only R route not run by Go-Ahead, or more specifically Metrobus

RATP and Abellio are the only companies where all of their garages either do or did have a letter prefix routes at the garage? Until Abellio lose the C3 then for them it still stands.

Surely if more than 1 company meets the criteria .... by its very nature it is not unique.

So to change it to make it unique Abellio is the only company where all their garages have a letter prefix and then when Tower Transit get the C3 they will become the only company where all of their garages have a letter prefix.

Abellio and Tower Transit have never operated any school routes. I know that Tower Transit’s predecessor First ran school routes but did Abellio’s predecessor Travel London operate any?

Travel London never operated any TfL school routes as far as I can tell. Neither did their predecessors Connex and Limebourne. However Travel London did operate a few Surrey school routes - although these ran under the Travel Surrey brand, I think this was just a trading name of Travel London.
Although First did operate quite a few school routes, the garages that Tower Transit took over hardly did any school work. LI ran part of the 686 for a while but X and AS never had any school routes.

If I’m right, Plumstead, Rainham, River Road and Waterloo are the closest garages to the Thames.
