The 264 runs along two separate roads called Mitcham Road and reaches within considerable walking distances of two separate parks called Wandle Park.

The 157 has had two sets of E40Ds involving the same group of bonnet numbers, Arriva's T118-124 and Go Ahead's E118-124. It was also the same set of fleet numbers the 239 used in the 90s with Mercedes midibuses MA118-124 (MA118 eventually moved over from the 39)

Before the bridge closure: The 33 went from Hammersmith to Fulwell with two Thames crossings - Hammersmith & Richmond bridges The 267 goes from Hammersmith to Fulwell without any crossings
Now: The 110 goes from Chiswick High Rd to Hounslow with two Thames crossings - Kew & Richmond bridges The 237 goes from Chiswick High Rd to Hounslow without any crossings

Locals can correct me if wrong but the 118 & P4 will be the only Diesel routes at Brixton? My own random thought.
No idea when the 118 will be renewed and if there are compliant Diesels for a new contract?

The 118’s next contract I believe will start on the first Saturday of February 2025, where it will likely be retained with new electrics. Part of the 133, 196, 250 & 345 are also diesel, but the 133 & 250 are receiving electroliners soon.

The 250 is only Diesel until late this year if I am not mistaken when the new electrics takeover (probably be late) whilst the 133 & 196 cannot use Diesels due to the Central ULEZ zone (the workings last week were just appearances, unlikely to happen regularly). The 345 is the route at QB that sees the Diesels daily but believe it is allocated Hybrids? You also rarely get the odd Diesel on the 156 but very rare.

Today exactly marks 5 years (That coincidentally happens to another Friday 29th March) since Stagecoach lost the 262 & 473 with both of those routes losing their Scania allocations on that day, today sees Stagecoach losing the 262 & 473 once again and another East London route losing their Scania allocation with this time being the 97 that will no longer sees Scanias after today.

The changes have now taken place the only thing that has somewhat surprised me is some E400’s appearing on the 262.

Concerning the most recent tender change for route 340, we can safely bring 4 operators into this sentence. Can we describe any other recent tender changes with 4 operator names?
Route 340 changed from Arriva using some ex Stagecoach Volvo V5LHs, to RATP using some ex Tower Transit Volvo B5LHs.
(The vehicle type is irrelevant to my point and would not have to be the same type after the chahge.)

The ex-HCT 66reg E200s being kept, but with the 11reg E200s (ex-First and ex-Metroline) being replaced by 65reg ex-Tower Transit.

True enough, but I am actually referring to changes of operators where the route changes from 1 non-indigenous batch to another. But yes, the original operator of vehicles literally changing upon retender. I can think of another contemporary example actually. Routes 262/473 from Stagecoach ex-Tower Transit Streetdecks to (albeit temporarily) Go-Ahead ex-First Volvo B9TLs. So, route 340 not unique after all. Whoops!

Which batch of buses has covered the most areas of London (in a relatively short period of time)?
Possibly the ex-TT 16reg VHs? They were new to the 328, and now allocated to the 135 and 340. But have also previously been allocated to the 125, 160, 199, 308, 452 and 733.

A full recap of the SW trivia currently:
Single digits. 11, N11, 44, N44, 77, 88, 333, EH77, MHV88, WHV88, WHV99..
Matching buses: EH77 and Route 77 WHV87, MHV87 and Route 87 WHV88 and Route 88 WHV170 and Route 170 (obviously not in service)
The 91 is gone but they did have 91/N91/WHV91 before too! Possibly the most satisfying garage for these little tidbits of trivia.
