The highest and lowest number 24 hour routes, 6 and 486, both have identical termini to other routes which also have/recently had 24hr services, the 52 and 132. Not sure if the latter will ever return but it still appears on 2023/4 spider maps

Is Knockholt Pound/Three Horseshoes ( link) the only TfL bus stop where the stop flag is a printed image on some sort of plastic/metal rather than the usual 'tiles'?

Routes S1 & S2 used to meet at Stratford, but now they meet at Sutton.
I don't know of any other pair of letter then number routes that have met in 2 different locations other than these.

There also used to be an S3 in Stratford according to the Ian Armstrong site that also would have met the then Stratford S1/2 and now meets the j now Sutton S1/2.

I have the feeling that route S3 was replaced by route 276 before route S2 was extended to Stratford. But yes, otherwise the connection stretches beyond S1 & S2 to include S3.

In the same vein the C3 and C4 used to meet in the Croydon/Addington area, and later C3 and C4 met at Chelsea Harbour (the latter C4 has now been replaced by the 424). Could also add the C1 and C3 which now meet at Earls Court.

Something I find interesting. A decade or two ago, there was seemingly a desire to rename bus stops - primarily those named after the local pub. It was probably good foresight by TfL as loads of said pubs are now Tesco Express stores. Anyway, back to the point.
There is a bus stop near Bedfont Lakes, served by H26. It is called Silverdale Kennels, named after the only landmark nearby that doesn’t already have a bus stop named after it. Silverdale Kennels closed down a while back but the stop name remains. The useless but fun trivia is that realistically, there’s not really anything else it can be renamed to! I’m guessing it will retain this name for years to come. Unless of course somebody decides to open a pub nearby. Then maybe we will turn back the clock and name it after that.

Could they not call them "Heathrow Logistic Park" or even rename the Bedfont Lakes stops "Bedfont Cemetery" and then call the Silverdale Kennels stops "Bedfont Lakes"?

Heathrow Logistics Park is probably a good suggestion. The stops should probably be relocated a bit closer to the turning anyway.

You’re never going to guess what… so today, I drove past the stops, and low and behold they have been renamed Heathrow Logistics Park. Whoever put the replacement tile up on one side done a bit of a dodgy job, but yeah, they are definitely listening to this conversation! 😉

I saw route K5 today, and my journey was due to terminate at Ham. I'm sure this is the only route whose terminus matches the name of a food. Yum!
