Half (3 of 6) of Abellio's garages are situated right next to competitors' ones. WL has Q, TF has FW, BC has C. QB is the only Abellio garage without another operator's one in close vicinity, WS has HZ (when it was open) and GW has G. I'm pretty sure every route at QB could be run from SW and vice versa of course, so I'd say that is a competitor within the vicinity. Most routes yes, but could route 27 really run from SW?

How many consecutive numbers run together? The 253 and 254 run together between Hackney and Holloway. This is less surprising than i sounds, as route 253 was split with the eastern section numbered 254. EDIT: I gave 3 other examples but you have quoted those and many more localet44

Apparently the 399 is the least used bus route. Well that’s according to Geoff Marshall. And ironically or appropriately, route 399 used to operate Marshall Darts.

Consecutive routes operating along the same road(s) {Snipped to avoid thread clogging} Here's a favourite one of mine people seem to miss completely: W12, W13 and W14 running together along George Street in South Woodford. And yet those routes to Wanstead do not all stop on the same side of the road.

Does the 969 have the longest non-stop section which is not on an express route? (1.4 miles between Roehampton Vale Asda & Roehampton Lane/Danebury Avenue) I think route 969 is unique as the only remaining 900 route in London.

W5, W6, W7, W8, W9 and W10’s prefixes mean Wood Green despite none of them serving it. The W5 stops the closest to Wood Green at Harringay. I think that C routes mean Central like C1, C2 now withdrawn C3, C10 and C11 it use to go to Central London when it when to King's cross Route C11 was Brent Cross - Archway for many years until extended to King's Cross to replace route 239, and now part of route 390 instead. So, I think the C in C11 means Cricklewood.

Route 414 is the only route serving Park Lane still using diesel buses. It is probably the most central remaining diesel route.

Oh yes, I think the reason I forgot about the DNs on route 23 is because when I rode it this time last year I only saw DNHs, fortunately.

Crossharbour asda is a bit unique as it is served by 4 routes all by different operators
- 277/N277: Stagecoach - 135: go ahead - D6: HCT - D8: TT
Is there any other place which has such a diverse set of operators in one place? I know Trafalgar Square etc will have almost all operators but % wise crossharbour is hard to beat

Don't worry, easily done given it's only a small allocation compared to the DNH's
