Route 414 is the only route serving Park Lane still using diesel buses. It is probably the most central remaining diesel route. The 36 have recently been using the occasional B9TL.

I think if we include strays we could include the 18 too which uses the occasional ADE. The other route which could probably compete with the 414 is the 476 which will be using WVNs for a while longer.

Although route 476 is a good comparison with route 414, I consider route 414 the more central of them as it cuts right through the heart of zone 1.

Crossharbour asda is a bit unique as it is served by 4 routes all by different operators - 277/N277: Stagecoach - 135: go ahead - D6: HCT - D8: TT Is there any other place which has such a diverse set of operators in one place? I know Trafalgar Square etc will have almost all operators but % wise crossharbour is hard to beat Earls Court which has recentely changed operators and is going to / retained will be the same 74 with Go Ahead 328 going to Metroline soon C1 at RATP C3 now at Tower Transit

What routes have the most mixture of vehicles running on them? Can even be strays and rares I’d say the 18, 207 and 238 are candidates 18 has Gemini 3 Mark 1 Gemini 3 Mark 2 Enviro 400 Enviro 400 Hybrid 207 has: Enviro 400 MMC Enviro 400 Smart Hybrid MMC Enviro 400 238: Scania Omnicity Enviro 400 Enviro 400 MMC Enviro 400 Smart Hybrid MMC New Routemaster (extra workings when District is shut) I suddenly remembered about this post and I have one more route I would like to add... 642: Scania OmniCity ADL E400 Diesel ADL E400 Hybrid ADL E400MMC Vo B5LH Gemini 3 Vo B5LH Gemini 2

The 93 is another one you may expect a good variety - on top of the normal DOEs, WVLs and WHVs you can also find the Es, VEs and EHs occasionally!

The D3 is unique in the sense that at both ends, it has the terminating stop, bus stand and first stop as the same point (in other words, the bus terminates at a bus stop, also has it as the bus stand and the first stop is also the same stop). This happens at both Bethnal Green (bonnet road) and leamouth (orchard place)
Is there any other route which does this?

Off the top of my head, the 294, 365, G1, H2, H3, H13, H14 all meet this criteria

I'm pretty sure every route at QB could be run from SW and vice versa of course, so I'd say that is a competitor within the vicinity. Most routes yes, but could route 27 really run from SW? Yes this is fair enough was probably getting a bit carried away with the idea that SW could run the 27. I think it's possible for Go Ahead to win it though from AF with another route moving elsewhere.
