I’ve used this route often when visiting friends in Windsor or Reading (the latter was when it still ran to Bracknell and I’d change for a Reading bus) it’s a nifty commuter route for sure and is always well used and busy when I’ve used it.
It’s useful because it goes right to the centre of London, where as Windsor has trains to London terminals which are on the fringes if Central London and you’d still need to use the to get to where you want to be.
Could it be made to run 24 hours? I’m sure making the 702 run through the night would be a godsend to those in Windsor or Slough who regularly go to London for a night out.

I don't think it would be profitable whatsoever. Heck, even the main daytime service just about scrapes the barrel and that's only because of Legoland. This year obviously made everything turn upside down…
Mind you, I've done last 703 out of Bracknell several times and often was the only passenger on, similar experiences with late 702s all-through to Reading, these are nowhere near the numbers to warrant viability at night. And don't forget a lot of people opt for the train

It would haemorrhage money, I’m afraid.
