Our favourite protesters are back! Whilst office workers are largely expected to ignore the Government's exhortations to get back to their workplaces, Extinction Rebellion plan very much to return to protesting on 1st September. by blocking the approach roads to Parliament. They are calling on the Government to back a Climate and Ecological Emergency Bill. There are also plans to protest along the route of HS2 on Friday 4th which could mean disruption around Euston and in parts of West London.

They are slowly wrecking any support for action against climate change.

They're already in the trees at Euston. I hope you mean that figuratively, they shouldn't be stopping traffic to play hide and seek .

Lost all my respect for these idiots. They don't understand their surroundings and seemingly seem to make everyone hate them more. Sometimes it's almost like some are there just to spread hate towards the government. The Canning Town incident, blocking Oxford Street, threatening farmers and not abiding by simple laws doesn't scream a notable cause. We must encourage people to be on public transport, sure the pandemic didn't help but they are so oblivious as to the damage they cause by blocking roads. The climate emergency is a priority for the government and you look at the pandemic and you see very little pollution from cars due to no one commuting.

The Canning Town incident occurred ten months ago, and Extinction Rebellion did say immediately afterwards that the action had been a "mistake". It is unlikely that a similar incident will occur this time.

I hope that should anyone sadly die because of this that the protestors get done for manslaughter.
