Well worth having a look around on their channel, they have other videos from the late 90s on the W3, 189, 260 and others. A very keen Titan run on the 114 too. They put up a new video once a week or so. Yes indeed, credit to @route92 who linked the channel first. I recommend the 114, 320, 102 & W3 videos - it allowed me to learn a lot about one of my other hobbies as well Can guess what it might be and, yes, the W3 video was evocative for me in that regard! A rich variety in Haringey and Islington at the time.

This one is a youtube POV of the 102 on a MCW Metrobus (It's interesting to see how some stuff is still the same up to this day and other things changed) Enjoy www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbceMJWZ1bUFeels weird not hearing iBus on a London bus. (It was 1998 I know. iBus probably wasn’t even considered then). The good ol times. Even looking at the roadworks on the NCR and seeing how it looks now even when I drive through there at times. It's amazing to see how its expanded nowadays although it may have been torture living through those times when the roadworks were going on.

Even watching this video it took me back when the 144 and 34 were single deckers and the fact that the 34 was running an overlapping service because of the roadworks on the NCR.

I thought of you funny enough when I saw this link on YouTube. You're going to be so surprised by how much things have changed on the NCR and how some stuff is still the same today.

This picture and bus will forever be a legendary bus to me. K888TKS is so unique in not only it being the first palatine 2 bus ever built but it was also the last leyland olympian engined bus. (Flickr Ilford circa 1993)

And of course how can I forget this honourable mention to L888TTT to complete the hat trick. (Flickr October 1994)

I used to really like the Alexander Volvo Olympians Stagecoach had around 1999. Bow garage used them on the 241,262 and 473 after the 25 was lost to First. The 241 was allocated short Tridents but these rarely worked the route.

I also rode a couple of new to Metroline examples on the 4 as well as one with Ensignbus and some Alexander Belfast examples on the 57 and with Dublin Bus

Although they did have some P-Reg buses on it at one point.

I forgot where though and that's correct with regards to the 86 having the northern counties palatine buses.

Unfortunately we didn’t see many Titans on our side of the capital. The first bus ride I ever remember was on a Metrobus on the 92. I quite liked them, until they replaced the routemasters on the 207.

I quite liked them, until they replaced the routemasters on the 207. From my side of London (East London) we had all sorts around there. In Newham that borough was dominated by Stagecoach, particularly in East Ham. Barking and Dagenham was a mix between Stagecoach, Capital Citybus (Before it became first), Docklands Transit (for the 287, 366 and 368) and Grey Green, same thing with Redbridge. We had Titans, Leyland and Volvo Olympians, Scanias, Dennis Lances and Arrows, DAF SB220s, DB250s and the Darts. When visiting family in North London that's where I saw the Metrobuses the most. Havering had some there on the 165 and 365.
