Hey Josh, welcome to the forum! Until Lockdown 2 came into effect, I used Thameslink to get to work (as it's free for me since I work for them ), and during peak times there wasn't as much patronage as you would get during a normal rush hour.

Hi Josh. I live near Turnpike Lane and work on the Grays Inn Road in a keyworker role so I've been in travelling the way through covid. My commute to work has been a mix of cycling and public transport, depending on the day (though I did drive for a while during lockdown 1 as this allowed me to get my partner to and from her place of work outside of the TfL area). I have kept a keen eye on the fluctuating passenger numbers as the months have rolled on.
I have answered your quiz and will have a look at the app you are developing. Good luck with it.
Edit: apologies, should have paid more attention when you said 'app store' - I'm an android user. All the same, good luck with the project.

Hi Josh, I travel in to Palestra most days for work (via bus and tube, sometimes Thameslink). I've been observing mask compliance and distancing, and on the whole it is decent but there are hotspots on the network and certain bus routes which are worse than others (due to a mixture of factors such as shops, schools, community deprivation levels etc). Your app seems well-developed, can I ask how you get the 'live' data for how busy stations are? Do you use our PowerBI data ( link)? Best of luck with the rest of your app, it seems like a great initiative.

So I made a tiny little survey which I thought would be easier, its only a few questions and takes 2 minutes to answer. If you wouldn't mind that would be unreal and I be so grateful. www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/LRZTPYRThankyou

Hey YY13VKP Thankyou, and I hope you had a good Christmas. Thankyou for getting back to me - very interesting that you work on Thameslink, I have created a tiny survey as I thought it would be easier that cluttering the forum. It's only 7 questions and very one word, it takes 2 minutes so if you could answer it that would be amazing. www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/LRZTPYRI really appreciate the help and you replying to me Thankyou

Hey thesquirrels firstly thankyou very much for replying to me, it's really interesting to see how people have been travelling through covid. Secondly thankyou for already completing the survey that's very kind of you. We will be looking to make android hopefully sooner rather than later. But I really appreciate the help and I look forward to showing some designs and hopefully an android one soon! Merry Christmas

Best of luck with the rest of your app, it seems like a great initiative. Hey @nightowl, firstly thankyou for replying to me and I hope you had a great Christmas. Interesting, yeah tbh it seems busses people use masks less, well that's at least what I've found. So I have made a tiny survey which if you could fill out would be massively helpful, its only 2 minutes long -https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/LRZTPYR So yes you are correct, we basically use that and previous year congestion data and make predictions based off that. (When you open the app we do say we are using historic data) But the goal is 100% to make this dynamic and change with the help of people. We are currently just trying to nail down the app and find what really gets people ticking. But thankyou for the kind words, im really happy with what we've made so far, but hopefully there will be much more to come! Merry Christmas

For me it's either
South West Railway from Crewkerne (in Somerset) followed by Jubilee to Canning Town & DLR to Gallions Reach to Beckton DLR Depot or having the use of a mates house in town .................... H37 to Richmond then District to Tower Hill / DLR etc..... or District to Westminster & Jubilee & DLR or 267 to Gunnersbury & District Line etc or N9 to Aldwych & N551 to Beckton DLR Depot. or subtle variations of the above. Usually take a 30 minute break of journey for a walk and taking some photos
