Ilford (18) 25,86,123,128,145,147,150,167,169,179,296,364,366, 396,425,462, EL1,W19 (excluding school routes and the N25 and the N86) Wood Green (13) 29,67,121,123,141,144,184,221,232,243,329,W3,W4 (excluding the N29 and the N91) I think any list of routes serving the Wood Green 'area' merits the inclusion of those serving Turnpike Lane station too - 41, 217, 231 and 444, giving a still not quite chart topping 17. That’s true but I was using routes that serve the Wood Green Tube station only.

Places with the least TfL bus routes: Kenley & Whyteleafe (407, 434) Warlingham (403) Banstead (S1, 166) Tatsfield (464) Merstham & Redhill (405) Leatherhead and Dorking (465)
As for the most routes, Kingston is a great example - it is served by 22 routes (57, 65, 71, 85, 111, 131, 213, 216, 285, 371, 406, 411, 418, 465, 481, K1, K2, K3, K4, K5, N87 and X26)

Motspur Park - 1 (K5) Malden Manor - 1 (K1) 2 (K1, S3) Claygate - 1 (K3) Hurst Park - 0 Thames Ditton - 0 Weston Green - 0 If the OP is talking Greater London only, then I’m afraid Claygate, Hurst Park, Weston Green and Thames Ditton don’t count : all are Surrey.

Ickenham only has 3 routes: 278, U1, U10 Could be 4 if you include the U9, even though it doesn't serve the station area. Although before the 278 existed there were only 2 (or 3), and Sundays only 1 or 2, depending on whether the U9 counts.

Hadley Highstone (and the area of Kitts End that sits in Barnet) doesn't have any TfL services bar the 626. The 399 runs nearby though.

from a tweet by the Deputy Mayor for Transport
...is excellent for seeing which parts of London don't have a bus service.
Areas that stand out include Richmond Park, northwest Enfield, north Hillingdon, rural Bromley and especially outer Havering.
Most of these areas don't have many houses, obviously, but some Londoners are definitely missing out.

Even northern Barnet, which is quite rural around the areas where the 107 and 251 go doesn't have much bus routes. Not surprising though, the road from Mill Hill to Whetstone is 4 miles of country roads
