Another benefit of the spilt would be you would have a set platform at Camden Town for Bank trains and another just for Charing Cross trains as at present they can serve either southbound (Northbound have set Edgware or High Barnet platforms to make it simpler).

I don't really understand why this has not happened to date. Can the extra 2tph be squeezed into the South Tottenham - Barking section? As well as the existing 4tph on the GOBLIN there is substantial freight traffic along that route. I suspect there might also be too many conflicting moves through the Seven Sisters and South Tottenham junctions to make this viable.
