To get the ball rolling, I'm starting with some questions so would be grateful if anyone could answer
What licenses would I need if only driving empty? (Think class B & D, not sure about PCV??) If there is no tacho fitted, do I need one if I only drive empty? (I honestly have no clue)

I believe if you have a relevant full car licence you can drive an empty that's fitted with eight passenger seats or less. Any more seats requires a PCV licence unless you're a bus engineer on call. I welcome any corrections.

If you passed your car test before 1997 you can drive an empty PCV vehicle on it. If passed after, you would need to get a PCV licence to drive a bus, unless the seats are removed and it has less then 7 seats. You should not have to get a tacho fitted.

Question from me: how much does storage roughly cost? I know it really depends on where, but does anyone have any ideas on how much from personal experience or from someone they know? Google is your friend on this one. It is variable between areas, covered storage costs more. Some charge more for bigger buses like artics and double decks as they take more space. Yearly contracts are cheaper than monthly or quarterly. Could be around £500-1500 a year.
