As much as I like Brendan Rodgers and what he's done for Leicester I genuinely cannot see them breaking into the top 4 this season. They already had their chances to take to get into it and they messed up both times coincidentally on the final day. With other teams strengthened it will be difficult now.

Dude, I don’t know if you hate Utd or not….that’s entirely up to you! I just don’t have time to listen to fans of other clubs saying we should sack Ole, when he is doing a good job. I started supporting Utd when we were winning nothing and Liverpool were destroying everyone season after season in the old division 1. Arsenal were also right up there. We don’t have a divine right to win the league and trophies each year, but as long as we’re good to watch and competing for the league and trophies, we’re heading in the right direction. Look at our previous 3 managers: We had Moyes - small club mentality from day 1 with his words and tactics. Route one football, vulnerable at the back. Fellani. Enough said. Then we had Van Gaal - Great for the youngsters, but too many sideways passes. Unlucky to get sacked after winning the FA Cup. Then the Special One. Never in my life have I disliked a Utd manager, until Moaninho. Horrible football to watch, publicly threw his own players under the bus when things go wrong, alienated key players, blamed the rest of the world when results go bad. Toxic is the only word. I was so happy when we sacked him. Now we have Ole. From day 1 he walks and talks like he knows what it means to be at Utd. We play attacking football and we try to win every game. Even when we play the likes of PSG, we raise our game and give it our best shot. He doesn’t moan when we get beaten, has the team playing for each other and has finished third then second in the league. Better record than any other manager since Fergie. Is he really any worse than Pocchetino? I don’t think so. Maguire, Ronaldo, Pogba, Cavani, Sancho, Verane and others would not choose to sign or stay if Ole was so bad. One person who deserves more credit is Mike Phelan. The guy is under rated, but seriously respected as a coach. Ole made a smart move in appointing him as assistant manager. Ole also has the likes of Michael Carrick and Darren Fletcher in his set up, so he has made some smart hires on and off the pitch. Onwards and upwards for Ole. Rome wasn’t built in a day and he had a huge task to repair the damage Mourinho had done. Back to topic…. I agree with the shout for City, Liverpool, Utd and Chelsea for the top 4. A lot could depend on injuries throughout the season and which teams are best at grinding out results during poor periods of form. Liverpool were tremendous at doing that, the season before they lost Van d**e and Matip to injury. On paper, City should win the league to to their ridiculous squad depth….but anything can happen in the Premier League! If Ronaldo sticks 25 plus goals away this season, we will be contenders 😁 I did say 'thinks' rather than actually explicitly saying you did As for your three previous managers, that is the result of having Ed Woodward running your club and if we look at David Moyes, he has some mitigating circumstances. Firstly, he got nowhere near the same amount of money which brings me on the second point which is Fergie only retired because that team he had was coming to it's end of life and it showed the following season. Thirdly, 9 months for the next manager was always unrealistic regardless of the situation - Rome wasn't built in a day in your words Moyes did find Januzi who promptly was mucked about by the next two coaches Van Gaal & Mourinho I agree with you on though things both got right was winning trophies & Lingard who progressed underneath both coaches whilst simultaneously ruining Januzi. Ole has moaned many times when he got beaten just like most managers do and he says some quite stupid things at time alongside Klopp such as the recent one where he likened football to rugby despite Jack Stephens brilliant challenge on Bruno Fernandes. Attacking football should be a given for any top side and his decision making and tactical decisions have been very questionable throughout his spell. Finishing 2nd & 3rd doesn't get you trophies, those with short memories forget the jibes Wenger got for saying that finishing fourth is like winning a trophy. A better record than other managers means nothing - I can't stand Mourinho and I'm not keen on a Van Gaal but both can point to trophies they won at United and it's now 5 years without any trophy, even my garbage team has won something in that time. Mike Phelan does deserve credit and he has my upmost respect, no bad words about him. All managers have complaints about decisions, but Moaninho makes it personal and takes things to another level. It’s all about him and his ego. Ole always states that the buck stops with him and that he is responsible for the performance on the pitch. Even when individuals have messed up. That’s real leadership right there. We went more than 25 years without winning the league, before Steve Bruce stuck away two bullet headers against Sheffield Wednesday in 1993. Five years is nothing 😊 Fergie went nearly 4 seasons without winning a bean, before landing the FA Cup in 1990. The rest as they say, is history. Moyes gets short shrift from me. For all of Woodward’s sins, that one is on Fergie. Moyes looked and sounded overawed by the job from day one. He then played route one football and in big games set us up not to lose and to nick a point (as if we were Everton), rather than going out to win. That is not the Utd way. He’s found his level again at West Ham. You mentioned Januzaj - what has he done of note since he left Utd? He really wasn’t that much of a loss. It takes more than raw ability to be a top player. Depay was more of a loss, but we couldn’t wait for him to mature. He was a late bloomer and its been great to see him finally fulfil some of the potential we all saw he had at Utd. Ole has been bringing through players from the academy and buying quite a few decent prospects under 18 for the future. I just don’t get the hate for Ole. I take it as a compliment that rival fans see we’re no longer easy to beat and want to see him sacked. We sack Ole and appoint who exactly? As for your “garbage” team - Arsenal will come again. Cream always rises to the top, but things ebb and flow. The problem I see with Arsenal is too many players in recent years who don’t seem to care about the club. Guendouzi and many others. As much as I used to hate Arsenal during the Fergie-Wenger years, I feel a little sorry for them these days. You certainly won’t go down, but have a really long way to come back to rival Tottenham as the best club in North London.

I can’t see it either, but Leicester have surprised us time and time again over the years. To see Jamie Vardy lift the FA cup last season was incredible. That guy is an inspiration to all up and coming footballers around the country. One thing you can guarantee with Brendan Rogers’ teams is that they will go for it and won’t be intimidated by other teams with bigger names and bigger budgets.

He truly is which is why I wonder what Leicester will do if and when Vardy retires. They do have a decent bunch of players but they will need a heap of depth if they were to really compete.

Leicester are a good team with good players who play decent football, but like you I agree it's difficult for them to compete with City, United, Liverpool and Chelsea. Tottenham could bounce back though, I think Nuno is a good manager and I expect them to be breaking into the top 4 soon, maybe not this season but possibly next year

Here's to many more Meanwhile, we actually won a game and scored a goal It was against Norwich though, who are arguably the weakest team and easiest to beat at the moment as they are at the foot of the table. Utd did well today, with Ronaldo scoring. Though I think the newspapers overreport on Ronaldo's signing as if it is the biggest sport story

One of my most memorable matches has to be the NLD back in 2008 when Lennon got that last minute equaliser. Those spurs fans that walked out that stadium before final whistle must of been kicking themselves afterwards.
The famous rule is unless your team is losing by an incredible amount of goals DO NOT LEAVE THE STADIUM BEFORE THE FINAL WHISTLE!!!!!
This is similar to all marvel films where you stay until the final credits has finished for that last minute clip at the end 😂😂😂😂.
But yes back to that famous match when Martin Tyler and Andy Gray were commentating and Tyler was saying "Deflection hit the post LENNON 4-4!!!!!!!"
It does suck that Andy Gray is no longer on sky (for understandable reasons)
