I can't help feeling a bit sorry for Ole, I'm sure he's a nice guy and the stick he's getting is nothing personal. On the other hand I can't help thinking that if he really loved the club he would step down gracefully. But then it seems managers don't resign nowadays, they wait for the sack and the payout that comes with it. Maybe Michael Carrick as interim manager? If only they had kept faith in David Moyes! You know before ferguson retired that was one of the worst United teams he had managed so there was major works needed to rebuild the squad. Moyes was the unfortunate scapegoat. I agree, Moyesey was given a poison chalice but he's doing ok at West Ham and I think given time at Man Utd they would be in a much better position now.

Di Matteo wouldn't be a bad replacement either but he's not popular with football pundits Apart from the Champions league win in 2012 I don't think he'd be a good solution. The problem runs deep with United

There were rumours that if Ole was sacked, Antonio Conte would be replacing him Think the rumour mill more strongly suggested Zidane as the replacement, especially seeing as the France job is unlikely to become available anytime soon.

I actually think Ten Haag at Ajax would be a good fit personally - he has done a very good job at Ajax despite having his main players sold off every season and is good at developing an attacking style with younger players. Certainly, we might see Donny Van De Beek actually leave prison (the bench) and play games at least. I still think Conte will end up being hired and in roughly 2 years time, everyone will be having another giggle when the Mourinho style implosion happens

A good result today for the gunners against Leicester though Leicester were coming at the Gunners in the second half.

Well...another game we managed to pretty much lose Oh boy but I was really impressed with the Palace result today. I did say to a few people at work that Palace will beat city.
