You have to have zonal borders somewhere. Are you advocating moving Bromley North to Zone 5? No, Bromley South to Zone 4. So what about all those that come from Zone 5&6 into Bromley South ... you advocating putting up their fares?

Moving Bromley South to Zone 4 would reduce revenue for Southeastern and Thameslink. It's fair that a station that has fast services has a slightly more expensive fare than that of another where you have to change at least once to get into London Terminals.

Zone changes I would implement: Twickenham - Zone 5 to Zone 4. Have absolutely no idea why its in Zone 5, it seems way far out. It's closer to central London than Hounslow the majority of its stations being in Zone 4
Hounslow Central and East - Zone 4 to Zone 5
Kingston - Zone 6 to Zone 5. Kingston isn't far enough from London to be in Zone 6. It's actually the same distance from central London (Trafalgar Square) as Woodford believe it or not!
Tolworth - Zone 5 to Zone 6. Tolworth is actually further away from central London than Kingston so deserves to be in a higher zone number.
Malden Manor/Worcester Park - Zone 4 to Zone 5. They feel too far out to be in Zone 4. Quite remarkably they are further out of London than Kingston (marginally)
Honestly the zoning system is weird and not geographically accurate. No zone is elliptical. I based my ideas using Scribble Maps, with a centre point of Trafalgar Square and drew outwards to stations that I thought were wrongly zoned. You'd be amazed to find that Croydon, Bromley, Plumstead, Ilford, Enfield, Oakwood, Edgware, Greenford and Twickenham are all the same distance from London
