So few trains available that a service along the entire line was not deemed viable? Quite rare I believe?

Not ideal but at least this section is covered by the DLR from Canning Town and Stratford is covered into central London with the Elizabeth Line. I know this doesn’t help for people heading into South East London but guess it’s all that can be done.

I've not seen the usual ticket acceptance notification on NMCC oddly enough (though service appears to have resumed). Wonder if the danglebahn ever has ticket acceptance in these cases. Aside from the 108 it's somewhat the only true alternative.

Turns out it was actually a customer incident.

Turns out it was actually a customer incident. Indeed, it was showing as suspended due to a customer incident when I checked, however there have also been delays due to cancellations this afternoon so I can see how the status may have become mixed up.

I've been told under good authority that the RAIB showed up to recreate the incident at Stratford which occurred on Boxing Day and thus required the line to be shut. All unplanned and unnotified it seems.

Noticed the duck tape holding the Central Line stock together has spread to the Jubilee Line! Seen a few trains with tape around the front roof section / drivers cab.
On a general note the Underground is starting to look very run down and dirty. Things really improved in the early 2000s but seems to be in a bit of decline now with dirty and tired stations and the ongoing issues like the Central Line.
