How happy is your postcode?

Website says it all, click on a region then a postcode to see how happy your postcode is. This only covers London based postcodes so not all postcodes will be covered. I live in Ruislip (HA4) so unfortunately I can't work out how happy Ruislip is. Also went to Mitcham  today (CR4), seemed quite happy there, definitely better than neighbouring Tooting (SW17). Also find Harlesden (NW10) particularly depressing so I like to avoid it as much as possible. The website roughly agrees with what I think of a postcode, with Putney (SW15) and Hampstead (NW3) being amongst my favourites and they are happy places!

Favourite postcodes:
SW13 (Barnes) lovely villagey feel
N20 (Totteridge) as above
SW4 (Clapham) Clapham Common in particular is great

Least favorite postcodes:
NW10 (Harlesden) Avoid like the plague. Nothing worth seeing here
N19 (Archway) again not a particularly nice settlement in London
SE17 (Camberwell) I find Camberwell rather dull

Favourite boroughs:
Merton - Particularly like Wimbledon, Colliers Wood and Mitcham. Lots of nice places to walk
Wandsworth - Nice settlements particularly Putney and Wandsworth
Richmond - Lovely areas, green spaces too

Average boroughs:
Hounslow - Like Hanworth, Chiswick and Brentford, not so interested in the rest.
Barnet - the west is pretty dull like Burnt Oak and West Henson but there are nice places like Totteridge, Finchley

Least favourite boroughs:
Brent - Apart from the Northwest of the borough, IMO Brent is home to some of the worst slums in London, namely Harlesden, Neasden and Willesden (However I haven't seen Lewisham, Greenwich, Tower Hamlets or Newham yet)
Islington - Don't see much attraction in this borough, loads of unattractive places

West Hendon is actually quite nice - going down Cool Oak Lane it is absolutely lovely heading towards Kingsbury Green & you obviously have the Welsh Harp so definitely not all bad. I don't mind Burnt Oak, I like it towards Mill Hill Broadway but not the nicest on the Broadway.

Neasden needs it's roundabout redone, that's what really let's the area down along with the McDonald's where gangs like to huddle, I've nearly been mugged down there. Kingsbury Green is nice tho.

As for Willesden, not that bad round Dollis Hill but I don't like the Willesden Green area or the Neasden Estates area (so nearby Neasden Station)

Archway is nice, when you look past the awful roundabout going up Highgate Hill it's lovely, though the Highgate Residents Association think the 271s stand is very invasive to the area (which it isn't) and even then they have suggested to the mayor splitting the 271? don't know how that would work. I like the properties near HT but yeah Archway is not the nicest of town centres.

Islington is nice - I like Islington Green & the Highbury Fields areas as it's very relaxing, I like the uniqueness of Angel if that counts as Islington but definitely moving towards Newington Green it is not very nice. I really like Highbury & Islington Station and the area around it apart from the Highbury Grove Estate.

According to the website, my postcode (SW2) mood is "grey just grey" yet next door SW9 is "rather cloudy". Interesting that they labelled SW2 as Brixton's postcode despite the majority of Brixton being part of the SW9 postcode

Clapham Common (SW4) is nice but at the same time, a bit too gentrified unlike 20 odd years ago when it would been lablled crime infested like neighbouring SW2 & SW9.

Was really talking about West Hendon Broadway but yes Cool Oak Lane is lovely. 

Generally I prefer the areas further from the centre of London, they just are nicer imo.

There's two boroughs in London which are really contrasting from end to end. West Haringey (generally anywhere west of the Great Northern Railway line) is so nice (Highgate, Muswell Hill and Crouch End in particular), but the further east like Wood Green and Tottenham are amongst the most deprived areas in the country. Personally I don't mind Tottenham that much in comparison to some of the bad places in SE London like Camberwell, Peckham and New Cross Gate. However Finsbury Park (the park not the place) despite falling east of the GNR is nice

Enfield also has contrasting differences between the east and the west (generally split at the A10). Cockfosters, Southgate, Oakwood, Hadley Wood, Winchmore Hill, Enfield Chase all nice. But Ponders End and Edmonton especially aren't great. I haven't seen much of NE Enfield like Brimsdown or Enfield Highway but I'd expect them to be not that great either

I live on the boundary of E10 and E11, on the E11 side. E11 seems to be better than E10 according to the website. I very much like where I live, shame f***ing landlords have to ruin everything.
