RMT strike because they don’t agree with the night tube driver conditions, realises members on those terms get much better pay and strike to prevent the conditions being removed. Slightly comical really if your think about it. |

I wonder how the daily bus network will cope without the tube. I do hope reductions if they fall in the week of the strike are postponed but I doubt extras will be needed from non-TFL companies.

The strikes that was due to start tommrow have been cancelled but the strikes planned for later this month are still on.

I'm glad they did cancel, as although I wasn't planning a train trip on those days, I went on the bus on Tuesday and Wednesday which would have been more busy had they gone on strike. |

The Tube strike action planned by the RMT union from tomorrow, Tuesday 24 August, until Friday 27 August has been suspended.
Tube services will now run as normal.
