After years of propping up the ailing state airline, it appears the Italian Government is now prepared to pull the plug on Alitalia. No more bookings are being taken for flights from 15th October onwards and all flights from this date will be cancelled. Passengers booked to fly with Alitalia from 15th October can either change their booking to travel on the 14th or earlier; or can apply for a full refund. Some passengers may be offered flights with other airlines in the SkyTeam Alliance. www.alitalia.com/en_en/fly-alitalia/news-and-activities/news/cancellation-of-flights-from-15-october.html

It's sad, man back in like 2008 the skies above London were full of Alitalias and it just kept decreasing.
