This seems to be an issue with those houses as opposed to the buses, the solution is to fix the houses and keep them strong and make sure the roads aren't a minefield when a bus is going through too. The fact the MP is getting involved suggests it's not good news for the 287, it could go south quickly if that route converts back to single decker operation. It might be better cutting the 287 short at Rainham Tesco rather than making it SD. The residents claim that 12min SDs are fine for their end, but they completely ignore the very busy Barking to Dagenham portion of the route which is why it even went DD in the first place.

Worse yet Upminster Road South get lumped into this even though they are not listed as a road that opposes the 287 running there.

Judging by the fact Jon Cruddas is involved now, and being a Labour MP I'd think he will get a result. Especially after the marginal win last election he had, and that Rainham is made up out of Tory voters as opposed to Labour voters. It's just a case of seeing what gets done. The 287 was also proposed to be sent down Goresbrook Road, it's probably just going to be a good idea to truncate the route and keep running time and PVR the same now and leave the residents to the 165 which gets restricted to singles only (which is a down for that route).

Apparently, these are the same residents who moaned when they had no bus service down there due to roadworks. As I said before, they have no evidence that double deckers are causing this and if that really was the case, wouldn't there be weight restrictions preventing even heavier vehicles from going along there.

Looking at the comments a lot of people are insulting the house owners saying that it is likely their houses were built on marsh land and the foundations were not done properly.

I'm pretty certain RTs, RMs and Ensigns Metros caused more vibrations than Enviros Could always turn the 287 at Rainham Interchange and force the residents to squeeze onto a 165 in the evenings. However, don't tell them about the plans to swap the 165 and 365 at Rainham....
