I didn't think they'd be this fuss over starting a thread, sorry. I have deleted OP. Moderators please close my account, thanks. Firstly, PLEASE DO NOT GO!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have had too many people go. The metaphorical bodies are piling up. 3 or so valued members have pulled the plug on their accounts. Dont go the same way! Secondly, I did in fact like the thread idea. Thirdly, if you still want to leave, you can delete your account by going to your settings in your profile. But I don't recommend it. STAY!

I’d extend the 119 and 227 from Bromley to Sidcup so I can get to Croydon and Beckenham/Penge/Crystal Palace easier. Just for me.

I have no idea why he left - no one had a problem with the idea he actually suggested but merely that we already have a fantasy thread as it is. Have to say this place continues to decline.

More positivity in responses would help.

It's sad to see a member leave because of this. Although I think there are too many threads like this, none of the criticisms were targeted at the person himself, as someone said it's a wonderful community, and rarely is criticisms directed at a person specifically

More positivity in responses would help. No one criticised his actual idea though, all people said is there isn’t a need for a third thread

Plus it wasn’t just one person, it was multiple people.

Whether or not people realise they are doing it there is often a lot of sniping, point scoring and criticism around here. How often do you see ‘this should be in such-and-such thread’ or ‘do we need this thread?’ If the OP wanted to create a more specific fantasy thread then where exactly is the problem? Is there some sort of limit on the number of threads that can be created? I just think everyone needs to chill out and relax a bit more
On topic, my selfish fantasy route would be nothing more than an extension of the R1 back to Bromley Common and run it 24 hours - wouldn’t need to drive to work then

My selfish fantasy route would be a heritage RT/RM service on the 146. BTW don't TB have a staff bus?

BTW don't TB have a staff bus? We do but it’s quite busy; I’ve been aware of drivers needing to get to work quite early so the staff bus driver can make other pickups

Yet you have done back seat moderating on here yourself and have openly criticised the mods on here?

I do sort of see the point in having this thread Withdrawn/Routes/New Routes Ideas for sensible proposals that would work well Fantasy for routes that would still be useful for many but are just a bit extreme (mostly in terms of routing/length) This for routes that would not make any sense, but would be a "nice to have" for each member personally
Personally (A network of routes to suit my family, not just me)
Monday-Friday Service 1)Putney Heath - Pratts Bottom - Sidcup Service 1A)Pratts Bottom - Orpington Service 2A/B)Kingston - Putney Heath - Wandsworth - Tooting Broadway - Sydenham Hill/Mitcham - Colliers Wood (Service 1A is lunchtime only to save costs and interworks with route 1) (Services 2A & 2 B interwork)
Saturday Service 3)New Malden - Roehampton Vale - Putney Heath - Putney - Tooting Bec - Tooting - Mitcham - Croydon - Pratts Bottom
Sunday Service 4)Putney Heath - A choice of places as decided on the day for a day out

I'd quite like to see more Tfl routes across the border from Ruislip.
The non Tfl 3 could run from Slough to Uxbridge as normal then continue to Ruislip (either run by First Berkshire or Tfl) whilst a Ruislip to Watford link would also be good, perhaps running along the whole length of Bury Street and Ducks Hill Road, then past Mount Vernon Hospital, Batchworth Lane, Hampermill station, Bushey station and 258 to Watford.
It would also help if the Chiltern Railway was more frequent, it would make travelling outside London more attractive.
