Gillette Corner TESCO - Syon Lane - Spur Road - Twickenham Road - WMH double run - Twickenham Road - North Street - Richmond Road - St Margaret's Road - Richmond Road - A307 - Lower Mortlake Road - Manor Road* - Queens Road - Star and Garter Hill - Petersham Road - Sandy Lane - Ham Street - Ham Common - Ham Gate Avenue - Queen's Road - Kingston Hill - Roehampton Vale ASDA All I'd ever need or want!
Operated using ex-K5 Solos from EB!
* Would run towards Osterley via Manor Grove and Lower Richmond Road. Towards Roehampton it would just serve the slip road where the 371 stand is.

An express route from Tooting Broadway - Lewisham Stops at Tooting Broadway Streatham, St Leonard's Church (via 333) Telford Avenue (333) Brixton (333) Loughborough Junction Stn (345) Camberwell Green (345) Peckham Post Office (436) Queen's Road Peckham Station (436) New Cross Bus Garage (436) New Cross Gate Station (436) Lewisham Station (436) Terminates on Molesworth Street
The Tooting - Streatham - Brixton corridor is so slow, every time I use it there is someone getting on and off every stop, a faster link would be so useful. Also makes it far easier for people in SW London to reach SE for a low single bus fare. If it was up to me I would give this route E400 EV Cities like the 94... although anything but LTs would be fine

There's so many good ideas on this forum for route changes and improvements, all put forward because of our desire to improve the lot of our fellow Londoners and create a better and maybe even a more profitable business for TFL. Well on this FANTASY thread, let's bin that!! What new route would you really really like? Who cares if it's going to get good patronage, a route that if created would be like all your xmases come at once. A route that'll suit little 'ol you, for your convenience. We'll put some parameters on this, to avoid a suggestion of an London wide orbital or other ridiculous ideas. We want something that could be put into operation. So your route can only traverse a maximum of three boroughs, though two could be connected to the third by a Thames bridge. OR two boroughs and out of tfl area up to 3 miles max. SO LET'S BE SELFISH, design your dream route. Mine, BARKINGSIDE (Fulwell Cross), High St, Horns Rd, Eastern Ave, Newbury Park Station, Aldborough Rd Sth, Seven Kings Station, High Rd, Chadwell Heath, Valence Avenue, Parsloes Avenue, Reede Rd, Dagenham East, Sth Dagenham Road, Rainham Rd, Upper Rainham Road, Elm Park Avenue ELM PARK STATION. Yep that'll do me, convenient for all my train, shopping and take away food needs. ( Redbridge, Barking and Dagenham, Havering) But this is exactly what the fantasy thread is for. The withdrawn routes thread is for the serious stuff.

Routes rarely exceed 12 miles in length because there would be so much congestion and traffic, whilst where there is a better alternative using the train, in this case there is, I think many would opt for the train.

There really isn't a need for a 3rd thread when there is already one where this sort of thing could go.

Romford to Canning Town on the 5 can take 90 mins on a bad day the alone any further!

There are already two other threads that fulfil this purpose.

I will use this thread and suggest a few selfish ideas being a 263 to Dalston, a 271 to Shoreditch, a daytime 603 (though amendments would be made to each end of route) a 393 to Camden Town & a decked 143. These 5 ideas are ones that I'd want to happen most (and might benefit other people!)
Another few fantasy ideas could always be a D6 return to Hackney (though no stand space available but Ash Grove is a middle of nowhere terminus), the 106 returning to it's old stand (though probably impossible)

I don't see why there needs to be more than one thread. The fantasy thread is rarely used and even ideas on there would not normally be feasible

I didn't think they'd be this fuss over starting a thread, sorry. I have deleted OP. Moderators please close my account, thanks.

As a forum at heart we are very nice people and I'm sure people will forgive and forget after a while.
