It's enough to make you feel really old by Only Fools And Horses is celebrating its 40th anniversary this month! BBC is showing The Story Of Only Fools And Horses now (8pm) followed by a classic episode (The Chandelier one) at 9pm.
Do you have a favourite episode? I liked the feature length episodes especially The Jolly Boys Outing and Dates!

Jolly Boys tops it that tiny bit more as it's the only episode to feature just about the entire cast, barring the Trotter brother's grandad who had already passed on (as did sadly the actor himself)...but where Uncle Albert was already by then brought in.

Massive fan of OFAH, Despite spending probably a few hundred quid buying each individual series/special over the years (long before the complete boxset ever came out!) still watch it on Gold and it still makes me laugh out loud at times, indeed it's got me through some dark times over the years. Like M1104, favourite episode's are JBO, Chain Gang as well as Rodney Come Home. I know most people's favorite scenes are either the Chandelier, falling through the bar or the Batman & Robin scene, but mine comes from Rodney Come Home, where Del Boy wants Uncle Albert to act shocked, the 3rd time Albert looks shocked, you can see David Jason desperately trying to keep a straight face. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdz2bheF99UThe other year (Pre Covid) me and a few mates were 7-8 beers in down at the local, we take over the Jukebox, I stuck a few songs on used in the background in OFAH, one of them; Lisa Stansfield's This is the right time came on, one of mates came jumping up to us with his arms up in the air waving them about shouting 'Only Fools & Horses, Only Fools & Horses' did make us laugh! Saw the Only Fools & Horses musical back in 2019, if you haven't seen it yet, I'd thoroughly recommend going to see it when it reopens.
