They've been a f**king nightmare today, blocking the A40 in North Acton and also parts of the M25. www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/insulate-britain-protests-back-as-activists-block-roads-into-london/ar-AAQ0dBJ?ocid=uxbndlbingWas on BBC news too, with one of the reporters questioning the protesters asking why they were there. I was cycling through Hillingdon today and the westbound traffic was horrendous on the A40, probably as a result of this. Stuff like this annoys me and people trying to get to work because it just causes chaos on the roads when people are trying to get to work/their destination. I get that climate change is an issue here but this is not the right way to go about it.

Looks like someone sprayed blue paint or ink on them today. Saw the video where it happened, couldn't stop laughing when I saw it.

A bit off topic, and in fact standing for the complete opposite of what Insulate Britain want, but there is a planned anti ULEZ protest tommorow by the A406 and A1. Should cause a lot of disruption if the crowds are big enough.

If you don't want to pay either get your car complaint or take public transport I think that's the point of their complaint - they don't want to pay money to buy a compliant car hence why they're protesting. I agree they should switch to public transport if possible.

Most of these protestors give me ‘old people who never amounted to much but spent all of their life comfortable with mummy and daddy’s money and property without having to work hard’ teas

Most of these protestors give me ‘old people who never amounted to much but spent all of their life comfortable with mummy and daddy’s money and property without having to work hard’ teas It’s 2 sets of people: - a set of young people who have been brainwashed in general by ultra left / anarchist brigade. Also have mom and dad’s money to fund everything anyway so no need to work, can sit on their a*** all day with no clue how the real world works (the youth brainwashed by the ultra right are too busy being racist / beating up people to do this!) - a set of elderly people who have done precisely nothing all their lives, now have the state / taxpayers’ money to fund everything anyway so couldn’t care less about normal people Ever wonder why you don’t see middle aged people in these protests? They are too busy working, raising a family, paying the bills and so on to waste everyone else’s time Apologies for the slightly sweeping statements in the first few lines….
