It's definitely better than withdrawing the 12 but I don't think its needed I think that it might be needed as it will helpful between Peckham and Shepherds Bush. There is no point trying to run an express route that mirrors existing routes through traffic choked Central & Inner London. The remaining express and limited stop routes in London all have particular niches that justify their existence |

But the 148 gets rammed and could do with some help. Yet it had a PVR reduction (6 buses) in August 2021 and the frequency was reduced to every 10 minutes. If the 148 needs some help, those six buses should be brought back. |

I’m sure they’d take around the same time assuming a train to Clapham Junction then Shepherd’s Bush is taken. The one is Shepherd’s Bush is much more upmarket and bigger than the Stratford one, so that may be a factor. |

Traffic levels are such that it would hardly be an express most of the time anyway. |

I thought that the one in Shepherds Bush after it’s extension was the largest. |
