Wondering if any members have completed or done stretches of the Capital Ring Walk!
If so, what was your favourite section? For me the Highgate section where you’re walking along the old railway bed was pretty cool. Haven’t done the whole thing though.

I did the Richmond Park section only from ASDA Roehampton to Ham but it was still really nice. I remember I got the 969 to the end, bought some food and then walked this section but probably got lost somewhere! |

I did a nice section from Clissold Park (Stoke Newington) along the New River towards Alexandra Palace - very off the beaten track, quite rural and quiet even though you're in the heart of North London - saw swans, herons and even some fish in the water which was quite clean!

I did a nice section from Clissold Park (Stoke Newington) along the New River towards Alexandra Palace - very off the beaten track, quite rural and quiet even though you're in the heart of North London - saw swans, herons and even some fish in the water which was quite clean! Yes that was part of the section I did a few days ago. One moment you’re watching 279s storm past on Seven Sisters Road, the next you’re walking along this quiet river! |
