Kwasi Kwarteng has been resigned or been sacked! More U turns on the budget expected. I feel he has been thrown under the bus, maybe the 24. For implementing Truss own masterplan. I guess many of the Conservative party membership would now regret not choosing Sunak. Or even worst Jeremy Hunt when on the initial set of poeople

If current political news is too depressing to stomach, why not instead watch a mini series On Prime? Earrings of Power started in September I can detect a feeling of Radar Love by Liz Truss for Jeremy Hunt. This is because she is wearing a Golden Earring.

Waiting for Hunt's sacking in November. Ironic how he ran against her a few months ago and is now the chancellor I think Hunt will be the Deputy Head that actually saves the failing school when OFSTED come to visit Short of calling an election which the Tories are scared of as they'd get wiped out, they will instead put Hugo Lloris up front with Son, and Harry Kane in goal... Hunt will be PM, especially after a humiliation in PMQs on Wednesday their 1922 Committee (their weirdo group where they bang the desks) will throw Truss to the hounds. Hunt has gone directly against Truss in what the Budget will actually be, higher taxes (after they crashed the economy) so UK plc will fall even further behind. Liz is powerless to stop him, he's actually in charge and she's more like a vassal queen or puppet leader. She can't keep going through Chancellors like Watford FC through managers Tory credibility shot, they are dreading Monday morning, let alone all the Sunday morning shows where the likes of Sophy Ridge will be asking questions about what on earth is going on. Turns out Kwarteng was sacked whilst mid air flying back to UK after meeting the IMF, and only found out from social media when he landed. That's despicable, even by Tory standards You can even see the desperation in retailers now, I noticed the Christmas Lights are already up on Oxford Street... in mid October. If there's a bad winter (already getting colder, we will be in single figures like value of the Pound by the end of the month ) and people don't spend much due to self imposed lockdowns to save money, things will be grim. Throw in constant strikes, which Liz Truss is too scared to put an end to, let alone Vegan protesters trashing shops or blocking roads, and it looks like the Tories have enough rope to hang themselves. The plebs will realise they have been mugged off with Brexit, and all those migrants that pick vegetables in fields, clean in hospitals etc, won't be coming over to work to keep everything going. Truss will keep on blaming Putin for everything that's wrong and repeat phrases like "What I am doing..." whilst talking rubbish about "growing pies"... I think she needs to be Sectioned There will be another re-arrange of chairs on the deck of the Titanic, as the Tories try to keep going for 2 more years like the 318's E200 Darts

Waiting for Hunt's sacking in November. Ironic how he ran against her a few months ago and is now the chancellor I see the opposite, with some way Hunt taking over Truss. Sunak must be laughing his head now as she has had to revert to almost everything Sunak set out; it is a shame others did not see what he was saying was right.

It is the usual thing from UK government, pretend you do not know until an unofficial announcement. As for Christmas lights, it is the same pathetic desperate money grabbing thing year after year. I would say October is late by the way some retailers are behaving over the past few years. By the end of summer on the August bank holiday weekend, shops are already putting Christmas stuff out. We have not even had bonfire or halloween then. I saw one shop even selling Halloween stuff from July; I was like WTF this is way OTT. One thing I would say about the extremes of migrant workers, it was helping to drive down wages over the years. many trades people lost out as they could not compete with migrant workers who would charge peanuts. You then also had the case that many of these larger companies paid peanuts because they knew the jobs could easily be filled with cheap labour

I partially agree, but I don't think Hunt will take over Truss. But I think Truss is certainly a dead woman walking and isn't going to last the year out. I can only see two scenarios, another leadership election or Truss throwing her toys out of the pram and threatening a snap election to prevent others throwing her out, most Tories will lose their seats so will probably do anything to avoid a snap election.

There's no chance of another drawn out X Factor Final whilst the bus of government careers down Muswell Hill with no brakes. With Johnson at the wheel, there was some sort of stability, but weeks more of the current chaos whilst those weirdos fight like rats in a sack over the next manager to lead the relegated club will cause too much harm to the economy and everything else. Throw in a health emergency such as Covid returning, none of Truss' mates, especially a morbidly obese Health Secretary who is also doubling as deputy PM will know what to do. Even Truss' mates at her 5 Hertford Street elite club, will look on in horror if the gulf between rich and poor is too great, and the economy is more like that of Greece. Liz has surrounded herself with all her mates, but this looks worse than any team off The Apprentice... This week will see a driver change on the 144, by Wednesday I think Liz will be forced out of the cab and made to leave the bus by Hunt and others keen to take over. The only end to the madness is a general election, but I think they are too proud to admit the game is up...

Well over 100 MPs agreed with Sunak and over 100 others did not vote for her either. Then 45% of party members did not vote for her. Alas, none of this was enough to prevent her becoming Prime Minister.

Alas, none of this was enough to prevent her becoming Prime Minister. Small majority wins in votes, wrecking it for everyone else seems to be a common theme with this type of government (2016) At least she got to stay at Chequers before the inevitable Disciplinary Hearing with the managers at work for gross misconduct... cue more dives in the economy (remember there's Disaster Capital funds who make a mint even if it goes t*ts up) from tomorrow, more stilted public addresses, but more likely running and hiding after blaming Putin... in any other job, this is probationary give-us-one-weeks-notice-but-we-can-sack-you-instantly territory Prime Ministers Questions will be brutal, with Ian Blackford, Keir Starmer and others tearing her to bits, before her Audience with the King (I wouldn't be surprised if he kisses his teeth and slams the door in her face this time ) then the 1922 lot forcing her out and Rishi Sunak moving in next door. It's like not buying the car you want and choosing something else, only to return to your original choice. I did this a few years ago with a 320d and an X5 (3 series was too small)... Rishi is still on the forecourt so Liz can go off to Auction when the higher ups in the Tories see fit
