Small majority wins in votes, wrecking it for everyone else seems to be a common theme with this type of government (2016) At least she got to stay at Chequers before the inevitable Disciplinary Hearing with the managers at work for gross misconduct... cue more dives in the economy (remember there's Disaster Capital funds who make a mint even if it goes t*ts up) from tomorrow, more stilted public addresses, but more likely running and hiding after blaming Putin... in any other job, this is probationary give-us-one-weeks-notice-but-we-can-sack-you-instantly territory Prime Ministers Questions will be brutal, with Ian Blackford, Keir Starmer and others tearing her to bits, before her Audience with the King (I wouldn't be surprised if he kisses his teeth and slams the door in her face this time ) then the 1922 lot forcing her out and Rishi Sunak moving in next door. It's like not buying the car you want and choosing something else, only to return to your original choice. I did this a few years ago with a 320d and an X5 (3 series was too small)... Rishi is still on the forecourt so Liz can go off to Auction when the higher ups in the Tories see fit Dont forget the R class Merc and 5 Series GT BMW They too were bad choices, like Brexit and Boris but unlike Truss, I broke even and got something more popular Every paper bar The Scum has bad news for Truss and predicting end of days... Caretaker Manager Jeremy Hunt may take care of the team for Wednesday's match where they face an Arsenal of questions from Labour and the SNP. Like a selfish minicab driver waiting for their next job, they won't leave the parking bay anytime soon if anyone expects an Election

The Daily Mail is never my paper of choice, but quite telling when strong Tory supporting papers such as the Daily Mail and the Evening Standard are slating the party left, right and centre you wonder how long this government will even last.

I would love to know what the reason was that Liz was "detained" for and was late to the debate. The way she disappeared like Rangers fans must have done in the 7-1 mauling by Liverpool last week was very telling after Hunt had destroyed her "Trussonomics" ... I think the drum beat for her to go must be deafening. Perhaps she was packing her bags

She's having a laugh if she thinks she can stay until 2024. No one can take her seriously

I would hardly call the Standard Tory supporting, they loved every bit of Corbyn.

Regardless of Osbourne being editor, he did put out a lot of anti Boris stuff as well as they never got along. There was and still is a lot of labour loving by the paper, which I kind of expect, due to the area of London trying to suck up to certain clientele. The Standard and Metro are more geared towards getting various advert content to individuals than anything else.

Acid test will be tomorrow as PMQs will see Liz blinking more than a defective indicator light on a Sprinter van Pensioners, who make up the bulk of Tory voters will be sad to see their "triple lock" pension cover removed (so pensions match inflation rises) as Jeremy Hunt struggles to plug holes in government coffers. Defence Secretary threatened to quit if Army budget cut. The World is now watching as everyone sees UK implode through self inflicted decisions, with nearly every paper calling it a "dumpster fire"... sadly a replacement of leader will be a protracted driver change on the 243, where there's no one to be seen for quite a few minutes Talk of putting Rishi Sunak in, or even going back to Boris Johnson

Boris bloody Johnson is the last thing anyone needs. He isa disgusting, vile charlatan. They all are Look at the decisions they have made in the last few years... I think quite frankly the country has had enough of the Tories now, while Boris was popular in 2019 he was more victorious from Labour imploding as opposed to his own policies. The country at the time was done with Brexit and Boris' view of just getting it done and over with was what people wanted. Since then Brexit got done, and the country has since fallen apart. Boris apart from Brexit was an utterly useless PM and showed contempt for the British public with all his scandals. I'm sure if there was a GE towards the end of Boris' time in charge that the Tories would have still lost the GE, they got completely handled one in the council elections. The Tories got Brexit done, fair play to them. They promised and they delivered. Everything else they did has been a Catastrophe. They want to hide behind a vaccine rollout without realising that many of the deaths that took place could have been prevented. There was scandal and sleaze everywhere, there was no respect for the British public. We get Liz Truss and now all that's happening is the economy is running into the ground and nobody knows whether she's even in charge or whether Jeremy Hunt has turned up and is effectively running the country. The Polls are favouring Labour more and more, while polls have a margin of error they are rarely wrong in the final result. The increase in the lead for Labour will almost certainly mirror a real term increase. At the very least I can see the Tories completely being wiped out in London. Quite possibly removing Boris once and for all from the politics field, and it's very clear that if nothing changes at Tory HQ that Labour will be forming the next government and the Tories will be lucky to even make opposition.
