I think it will be out of Liz Truss, Jeremy Hunt or Rishi Sunak I've a funny feeling it will be Truss or Mordaunt - don't ask me why but I just do I want Mourdaunt to get it, but think Truss will prevail. Whilst Rishi has a lot of supporters, there is also a big group that don't want him.

If the MPs had the foresight to listen to the party members we would be electing either Mordaunt or Badenoch, both seem to have a fresh approach and more importantly fresh ideas on how the party should move forward. The MPs might want Sunak but he will go down like cat sick with the voters. My party vote is currently with Badenoch but I will switch to Mordaunt if that is the compromise.

Yes indeed and a lot of the public don't want Sunak either for good reason - mainly from my view, he shouldn't be running given he also got fixed penalty notice just like Boris so can't see how we can have another law breaking PM after ousting the previous law breaking PM

I think it will be out of Liz Truss, Jeremy Hunt or Rishi Sunak Out of the three I think Hunt will miss out on the final two with Sunak winning. I would have said Ben Wallace would stand a good chance if he didn't change his mind Hunt is now out for the count

It's a shame Jeremy Hunt has left Love Island. But the current series may be pulled by the network in the unlikely event of a general election following a No Confidence Vote on Monday (which Boris ordered on himself ) You can't make this stuff up

I doubt Tory members will go for Sunak given his record on taxes as Chancellor, something his opponents aren't letting him forget. Penny Mordaunt seems to be the one with momentum and the candidate that Labour fear - think she isn't as tainted by the Johnson administration as Sunak or Truss.

Did anyone watch the leadership debate on Channel 4? I don't know what people thought about it but I'd say Tugenhat did pretty well in it whilst Sunak was seemingly winning some favour with the audience at times. I have to say all three woman were very disappointing personally

I have to say all three woman were very disappointing personally Apart from Kemi Badenoch, all the others were as dull as the B9TLs on the 476 I think the role needs a dash of charisma, as people have seen since 2019, the Clown stuff doesn't impress. David Cameron was never entertaining, but like Theresa May, did get the day to day stuff done. Whoever wins is still the same poor hand of cards, they will say what they can to get the job, then promises made will evaporate during the coming weeks
